The Picture Perfect Party Suite has been one of my favorites from the Occasions Catalog! There is still a month left that you can purchase the wonderful products from this suite and the whole catalog!
I made this card for another SWAP for Stampin’ Up’s OnStage earlier this month. I love how the colors pop and celebrate your recipient’s big day! For the candles, I stamped off the solid image and used full strength ink for the patterns. Next, I used the new Stamparatus to line up the Happy Birthday going down the side! Then I ran the Berry Burst strip of paper through the Big Shot with the Sequins Dynamic Embossing Folder. This was followed by the Myth & Magic glimmer paper, the Picture Perfect Party DSP pack, and some Silver Baker’s Twine!
Here is the April Hostess Code B9SXQTFB. IF you are ordering $150 or more, you don’t need to use the code. Reap those hostess benefits! Grab your friends and place an order together too! So many great deals and some products are already selling out!
Look at what you can order Starting May 1st!!! New products too!
I have always admired people who make quilts! I have even thought of trying to make one. But, I need another hobby like a hole in my head! Giggle!! So, I decided to use the Tailored Tag Punch to make my panels and then I glued the pieces down in a semi-random pattern. I trimmed off the excess and then ran it through the Big Shot with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder.
To add extra detail to the sentiment, I used my Rich Razzleberry Marker to make faux stitches. A little ribbon and it was done (with no Wink of Stella!!) Shocker! This is the technique card for stamp club this month.
Be sure to get your retiring colors before they are gone! And I added links to the retired list for both the Occasions Catalog and the Annual Catalog 2017-2018! You can have it shipped to you even if you are not local to me!
Here is the April Hostess Code B9SXQTFB! Happy Stampin’!
Fruit Basket is one of those stamp sets that I passed by in the Occasions Catalog and then I started seeing a ton of super cute cards made with it! And then, one of my customers ordered the Tutti-Fruiti DSP pack! I HAD to get the whole suite after that! The suite includes the Itty Bitty Fruit Punch Pack, Lemon Lime Twist 3/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon, Adhesive Backed Sequins, DSP, and Washi tape! There is a set of Tutti-Fruiti Stampin’ Spots too!
The Sale a Bration Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing folder is carrying over to the NEW catalog!!! So, I whipped this card up! I started by stamping some berries and then embossing with Silver Embossing powder over them to make the basket! Then, I stamped & punched out some berried to layer on top. I added some DSP and a Lemon Lime Twist banner for the sentiment! All done! I love how it turned out!
You may have heard the news, but in case you haven’t: the NEW catalog will have NEW colors!
I will post some teasers of new colors when my pre order arrives!!! I can’t wait! But I highly encourage you to stock up on re-inkers, markers, paper, and stamp pads now!
I have set up April’s hostess code B9SXQTFB that you can use on Laura’s Website at check out! It will ship to you before I close out the order! IF you are new customer and would like a catalog, let me know too!
I love how easy it is to make an elegant and graceful card with the Beautiful Peacock! This is one of the FREE choices from the Sale-a-bration catalog with a $50 purchase! It is a photopolymer set which makes it easy for lining up Eastern Palace DSP. I used Versa Mark and Gold embossing powder for the swirly part of the feathers.
Then, I used coordinating Fresh Fig and Tranquil Tide to complete the small flower details around the feathers. Finally, I topped it off with the 1/8″ Fresh Fig ribbon!
I check my demonstrator web page a couple times a day. Yesterday they announced that there may be a backorder on some of the Stampin’ Blends. They have been super popular and they are working with the supplier to get more. Here is the list of colors to purchase or stock up today!

I love it when I am working on one project, then cut out a piece from the Big Shot, and then a new idea hits me! I saw the negative of the Petal Branch from the Petals & More Thinlit dies and immediately saw this card!
It was such a simple card to put together too! I just popped a piece of Copper Foil in the background and matted it with Early Espresso. A little Linen Thread and a sentiment, finished! And it’s masculine! Those are usually my hardest to design!
The pictures do not do the copper justice at all! It really pops in person!
My son has grown up around me making crafts with Stampin Up! products. He wanted to make his friend a birthday card, so off to my room we go. He usually goes through my pieces that don’t make it onto a project and scrap paper. But I am so proud of what he made!!
He tells me he wants to be a Stampin’ Up! demo when he gets older! Ha! I will see what he says when he’s 18! Until then, I will eat up these moments!
I LOVE this Party Pandas stamp set! And do you want to know that you can choose this as a FREE item! Yes-It’s Sale-a-bration time!!! For every $50 or $100 you spend, there are FREE items you can choose from the Sale-a-bration catalog!
This is going to be a card for this month’s club too! I just love how he’s throwing confetti in the air! I just used the marker to stamp technique to have more than one color on the stamp! And the new Scattered Sequins Dynamic Texture Impressions Embossing folder is just too cute!!
I did use Wink of Stella on the confetti and his party hat! He just makes me smile!
Just look at the benefits of hosting a party/FB party and joining my team! I have several that are hobby demonstrators and some that use it as a Part Time business! And you don’t have to live close by! We skype or facetime at our quarterly gatherings!

I am so happy that it is finally starting to feel like fall here in Texas! I wanted to create some cards to celebrate the season! One of the bundles that I will treasure for a long time is the Colorful Seasons bundle! It is a must have for a new stamper too! It covers all the seasons and has such beautiful dies to coordinate with the images! Not to mention the paper, color combos, and accessories to boot!
Part of my monthly stamp club includes a technique. The members get a sample of the technique and a small blurb that explains how to create it again. When they first join, they receive a journal to put these in so they have it to look back on for a handy (and pretty) reference!
This card plays up the Emboss Resist technique. I just switched the embossing powder to Copper! I then used Sponge Daubers to rub Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, and Cherry Cobbler. (in that order) I started with the middle of the leaf towards the stem. I only used the Cherry Cobbler on the tips of the leaves. I then cut them out as well as one Copper Foil leaf.
I just love how the Copper Foil, Copper Embossing Folder, and Copper Thread make this card pop!
All through this month you can stock up on your favorite Designer Series Paper with the Buy 3, Get 1 FREE sale! (select papers on the list)
Don’t forget the deadline to order this month’s Creative Class To Go is October 20th! You can add some of the paper to your order too! Just use the host code on the image below!
I have found so many different ways to utilize the Wood Words Bundle! I needed a birthday card and came up with this rustic looking card! I got the color idea straight from the picture for this suite right in the catalog!
This card is super easy to re-create too! So, I made this a club card for my girls!
First, I stamped the floral bunch with Peekaboo Peach on to Peekaboo Peach paper. I then took 1 1/4″ pieces of Early Espresso paper & the Wood Textures DSP pack. If you tear slowly away from you the middle of the paper will not show. I did use a sponge and Early Espresso to distress the edges. Next I stamped the rooster with Cajun Craze and punched him out with the 1 1/4″ circle punch. Then I punched the Small Scalloped Circle with Cajun Craze paper. To give it that extra vintage feel, I crumpled up the paper and flattened it back out. To give the doily extra fluff, I folded it in half before adhering it behind the strips of ripped paper. I also used the Early Espresso to distress the doily.
I then cut out the cute tag with the tag from the Wood Crate framelit set. To finish the look, I tied a bow using the Linen Thread!
If you love fall-you will love this month’s Paper Pumpkin! Look how cute these turned out! 8 mini cards and 8 pillow boxes! And Stampin’ Up! is going to have back to back coordinating projects! How cool is that?? Do you want in on the fun? Subscribe before October 10th! Click on Laura’s Paper Pumpkin to get started!
Last but not least: This week is the last week to order the Creative Class to Go! Here is the information on what you will receive! September Creative Class to GO!
Remember how I like to use the same layout? Here is another card using the same layout as the previous post!! I actually was trying to make a different card and it failed. So I couldn’t waste this cute little pig!! So I just whipped up another birthday card! You can never have too many of those!
I used the Basic Black Archival ink to stamp the outline stamp of the pig. If you want to stamp and not include a sentiment attached to the stamp, then use a piece of scotch tape. You just place it over the words, stamp as usual, and take off the tape before stamping on your card stock. I then used an Aqua Painter and the top lid of the ink pad to color the image.
I thought the Wood Grain DSP paper pack would look perfect with this cutie! I finally bought the Classic Label punch and I love how it looks! And it’s quick too!
