I was inspired by a card I saw around Christmas time a couple years ago. The card had three jars and they were in Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, and Very Vanilla. July 4th is around the corner and I thought this would be a great Patriotic Birthday Card!
I started by stamping with the jar stamp with Basic Gray onto Real Red, Whisper White, and Night of Navy card stock. Next, punched them out with the Jar Punch and tied some Linen Thread around the jar’s neck. To create the rustic look, I ran a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ Crumb Cake through the die cutting machine with the Old World Paper 3-D folder. Then I distressed the raised areas to create some additional depth. Next, I ran a piece of Silver Foil through with the Lace 3-D folder to place behind the denim looking piece of DSP from the Flowers for Every Season 6X6 DSP pack.
To create the sentiment, I used the Itty Bitty Birthday stamps with the new Lovely Labels Pick a Punch! You get 6 types of labels out of one punch! The card is finished off with some Basic Pearls!
