The Country Home stamp set is one of my favorite “go to” sets! It captures the farmhouse style and delivers wonderful water colored results! Not to mention you can use it all year for multiple occasions!
I chose to stamp the succulent bouquet with Soft Suede ink because it was a water based ink. The Stampin’ Blends worked well with the line color because it was water based and the Blends are alcohol based. I then chose to color the bouquet with the following Stampin’ Blends: Soft Suede light/dark; Blackberry Bliss light/dark ; Mint Macaron light/dark; Cajun Craze light, and Crumb Cake light. Next, I fussy cut the image out and accented it with Wink of Stella.
I ADORE the Chicken Wire and I pray it stays as a regular in our next Annual Catalog! I used this behind the Country Lane DSP banner I cut out. Then, I stamped the sentiment on Mint Macaron with Blackberry Bliss Ink. It’s all topped off with the new Braided Linen thread! (I am on my 3rd roll already!)
Do you want to get a few items? If you check “no contact” I can’t mail you any goodies for your first order with me! I thank you for those who have ordered! Here is this month’s host code! Just use it at check out for your FREE Embossing Powder!
As you can see, the Country Home stamp set if a true favorite! We are slowly changing our house to the farmhouse style. So, when I saw this set, I had to have it! And the Corrugated Dynamic Embossing Folder is a wonderful compliment to this set! It creates texture to the background of the card. To add more whimsy to the card I ran some Copper Foil through the Big Shot with the Tin Tile Dynamic Embossing Folder!
To color the pitcher, I used both of the Night of Navy blends and went over that with the color lifter to add highlights. Then I used Mango Medley, Night of Navy, Soft Suede, Shaded Spruce, Cajun Craze, and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends to color the image. I did use a Color Lifter as well to add some depth to the focal point.
I created the sentiment by stamping the “thanks” from this set with StazOn on to Copper Foil and cut it out. Next, I wrapped some Linen Thread around a few times and tied a knot.
I love how it turned out! If you love this set-which I knowyou do-then you need to order Country Home today! (It’s the featured set for my card kit-purchase the items listed in September Creative Kit to Go and get the supplies to make 6 cards FREE)
I am so ready for fall! This is the fifth card that I have made with the Blended Seasons bundle! I used the cut out from my previous card to create this simple fall card! We are making it tonight at my Sweet & Simple card class!
To create this beauty:
Stamp the leaves with Early Espresso ink randomly on Soft Suede cardstock.
Stamp thank you on a Crumb Cake piece and run it through the Big Shot with the smallest of the Stitched Seasons label die. (I centered the sentiment more towards the top to leave room for the embellishments)
On a scrap of Very Vanilla, use the Watercolor Assortment #2 and color with Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, and Granny Apple Green.
Cut out 2 leaves and use Wink of Stella to blend the watercolors.
Tie a bow with 2 pieces of Linen Thread.
Dimensionals were used to pop up the sentiment piece and glue dots for the leaves & Gold Glimmer paper.

During the month of August, you can purchase this versatile Blended Seasons bundle! The stamp set covers fall, Christmas, wedding, and floral images great for any occasion! Plus, the Stitched Seasons Framelits are a must have for cutting out sentiments or adding that extra dimension to your project! To sweeten this deal, Stampin’ Up! added NEW Watercolor Pencil colors too! This whole offering is great for scrapbooking too!
There are 3 different sizes of stitched labels that nestle inside one another. The best part is that the die cuts a stitched outline on both the cut out and the negative! This alone doubles your value creating a frame to tuck in an image or a sentiment. That is what I wanted to showcase with my card today!
My inspiration came from a sample that Stampin’ Up! posted for this bundle. I first off set the smallest of the label framelits and cut out a section of Crumb Cake for the card base. (and kept the cut out for another card). Then, I stamped the leaves in a random pattern using Early Espresso ink. Next, I used various colors from both Watercolor Pencils (assortments 1 & 2) to make fall color leaves. (Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, Old Olive) I used a Blender Pen to blend the colors together for a more natural look. I LOVE these watercolor pencils! They blend so easily with blender pens or water. Plus, they look great with out using any blending tools!
I cut out 2 Copper Foil leaves and used a bow of Copper Trim. The sentiment was stamped with Early Espresso as well!

Here is another card idea for the Abstract Impressions set! This set has yielded at least 4 cards already! I had to try out the Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape! I paired it to color the stems with Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist. The results are stunning!
This card was made for my Annual New Catalog Open House/Customer Appreciation this past weekend. There were goodie bags for those who attended, lots of retired items for sale (I can post a list if you are interested), tons of samples using new products, and wonderful friendships celebrated! It was a great turn out! And a dear friend took the plunge and joined my team!
My 8 year old begged to make a card with us and I was thrilled with his results! I didn’t help him one bit! So proud!!
Who is ready for the NEW catalog!!??? I have a LONG wish list!!! I can guarantee that Rooted in Nature stamp set and the coordinating Nature’s Roots Framelits is a must for your wish list! Look how quickly you can create simple, elegant, and masculine cards with it!
This card was made for my club members last month! We stamped the tree in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla. Then, we adhered the Nature’s Poem DSP strip & smaller strip together. To finish that piece, we tied Linen Thread around it twice and tied a knot. Next, we cut out a leaf stamped in Grapefruit Grove (a new favorite color of mine!) and a Copper Foil piece too! It was easily assembled onto Tranquil tide and Mint Macaron!
And TODAY IS THE DAY!!! AT 12:00 (MT) you can order from the new catalog!! How do you ask?? Simply go to my site: www.Lvenvertloh.stampinup.net and order! If you want to order $150 or more-reap the host benefits for yourself! Or you can add the hostess code: XP2XCXSA at check out!

I finally was able to play with some of my new goodies at our retreat a couple weeks ago! This card was one of the 3 projects our stamp club made! If features a new color, Soft Sea Foam, as well as Abstract Impressions stamp set! It makes the most beautiful floral cards! The DSP is from the new Garden Impressions 6×6 pack, which coordinates with the Metallic Ribbon Combo. The combo has the new Shaded Spruce color and Petal Pink that both have glimmer weaved in each.
Did you notice the stitching? It came from the new Stitched Labels Framelits!! There are so many fun shapes that include stitching that add that special texture to your creations!
I love the deep, rich color of the Shaded Spruce and Blueberry Bushel! The color on the pad case just doesn’t do it justice! The flowers were made with 3 colors: first was Blushing Bride, then Calypso Coral, and lastly, Melon Mambo. I did finish it off with some Wink of Stella!
June also marks the Creative Class To Go’s return!! I am almost done typing it up and it’s a great set of cards! It features the new Lily Pad Lake bundle! Look out for details on how to get your FREE card kit June 1st!
Wow, it’s been a little bit since I posted! Life has been a little hectic lately! But I am at my craft retreat recharging my creative mojo! I made this card for my All Occasion Stamp a Stack of cards last month! It features items that you can buy as a sneak peek bundle this month! (details to follow!)
Grapefruit Grove is my favorite new In Color for this year!! It mixes so well with the Mint Macaron and Blackberry Bliss! (soooo happy these colors are back) There are two stamps that can be used to fill your flower blooms in this set. I used the smaller one and stamped one at full strength and then followed with a stamped off image. I added some Wink of Stella too!
I used the Mint Macaron for color on color to create more depth. Then I added a small strip of Blackberry Bliss with some Linen Thread for more texture and grounding. To create the border on the Love What You Do DSP, I used the Decorative Ribbon Border punch and turned it to the scalloped side for a subtle accent.

I will truly miss the Tranquil Tulips hostess set!! It was a popular set with my girls this past year! The two step Stampin makes the final product so realistic! I made this card for one of my SWAPS for On Stage the other week. I loved it so much that I am using it for the Sweet & Simple cards too!
Sahara Sand paired with the Pinewood Plank Embossing Folder created that Greige color that is so popular right now! I stamped off the more solid petal and full strength with the detailed part of the petals. There is Wink of Stella on the pistils too!
Be sure to stock up on your favorite colors while they last! There are several DSP packs that are SOLD OUT! Delightful Daisy, Coffee Break, Petal Garden, A Whole Lot of Lovely, Fast Fuse refill/full; Pansy Punch, and Fluttering Embossing Folder!
I made a very similar card for a dear friend’s wedding. I loved it so much that I re-made it for a club card for this month! The Petal Palette stamp set and matching Petals & More Thinlits have been a favorite this past month!
I first stamped the leaf bunch with Pool Party on Pool Party card stock. I did stamp off on one of the layers to give it a more subtle feel. Next, I cut out the ornate accent with Silver Foil and layered half of a Doily underneath. I tussled some Silver Bakers twine behind the flowers after using dimensionals to pop it up. Look how ornate and elegant the Stampin’ Blends make the colors on the bouquet! Of course I added Wink of Stella Clear to the flowers!
The Garden Trellis embossing folder was used for more texture behind the flowers. It was finished off with a sentiment from the Petal Pallet set cut out with the thinlit included.
