I love flowers-especially carnations! And my husband loves that they are easier on the pocket book! 😬 Seriously-they stay alive so much longer and I can enjoy them!
The Inspiring Iris set was on my “have to have” list! Irises remind me of our childhood house and how they grew along with the daffodils every spring! My mom and I both love purple too! Miss her so much!
I made this card fort Sweet and Simple class. I started with Black Memento Ink and stamped the outline of the flowers. I followed that with Garden Green to fill in the leaves. Then, to create the carnations variation, I stamped with Blushing Bride frost and then rolled the top of the stamp with Rococo Rose. I love the results!

I ran a piece of card stock with the Scripty Embossing folder to tie in the Rocco Rose. Next I added a piece of the Pretty Peacock 1/2″ Scalloped Linen ribbon. It was finished off with Wink of Stella clear! Finally, I added the cute and curved “thanks” sentiment on top of one of the flowers!
