Easy Handmade Card with Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper 🌸

Do you love the hand-drawn look in paper crafting? The Artisan Sketched Garden 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper is such a beautiful starting point for handmade cards. The black-and-white illustrated patterns make it easy to add your own color, texture, and sparkle!

For this simple card, I started with a Flirty Flamingo card base and added a Basic White layer embossed with the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder. That soft plaid texture gives the card just the right amount of cozy detail without taking away from the pretty patterned paper.

Next, I added a 2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ strip of the polka dot pattern right down the center. I love how the dots add a playful little pop while still keeping the card clean and simple.

The real star of the card is the floral arrangement! I fussy cut one of the sketched floral images from the paper and colored it with Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. It is such an easy way to make the paper feel custom and bring those sweet blooms to life.

Of course, I couldn’t resist adding a little sparkle. A touch of Wink of Stella and a few Basic Rhinestones finished the card perfectly!

This is a great card layout to recreate again and again. Just change the colors, switch the patterned paper, or add a different sentiment for a whole new look.
