What a fun a crazy two weeks it has been! We loved visiting our family in upstate NY, but our travels home were challenging. Hubby woke up the morning of our flight and had severe back pain-shaking almost. I took him to the ER up there and it was a kidney stone. We got him some relief and got back a day later. He had another trip to our ER with 2 more! He has seen the specialist and had more scans….we think we are good!
I finally got to play with this gorgeous stamp set!!! I love vintage cards/creations, so this was on my first wish list! I made this card for my Sweet & Simple class and deceided to use it for club too!
The Woven Threads Trim is Devine! I used my Paper Snips to cut the bottom strings and pulled them off to create this fun fringe effect! I used Crumb Cake to stamp the verse in the background and Mossy Meadow for the leaves. I then stamped the scroll with Soft Suede. I used Tear & Tape to adhere the Woven Threads to the card and positioned it almost center the scroll. I distressed the Very Vanilla base and the sentiment with Crumb Cake. I used a die from the Perfect Parcel dies.
