Cupcake Carousel is such a fun and retro/vintage set! I love this whole suite of goodies!! The 6×6 paper stack, the stamp set, the colors, and the embellishment set are just yummy!
This card was really simple to make, but packs a WOW punch! I started off by stamping the carousel horse with Early Espresso onto Very Vanilla. I used a Blender Pen to erase the pennants on his reigns. I then colored with Calypso Coral, Bermuda Bay, So Saffron, Soft Sky, and Gold Wink of Stella for the pole. To color his tail and mane, I just used the blender pen to blend the Early Espresso into the Very Vanilla areas. I used the Stitched Framelits-THESE ARE A MUST HAVE- to cut out the horse. I did flick some Early Espresso onto the card by using a strip of glue dot paper. You just need to add your ink to the paper, add water, and flick with your finger from behind the paper. Please practice first on scratch paper! I then stamped the circus tent in Bermuda Bay on Bermuda Bay card stock. To balance the side-I used the 6×6 paper as an accent. Speaking of accents: you have to check out the fun tassels, bows, and other goodies in the embellishment kit! I used 2 glue dots to adhere the tassel. I did use the ribbon that comes in the kit to tie a bow through the loop first.
I finished off by using the Tin of Cards sentiment on Calypso Coral. What a fun card!!
