This card was what I call an “unintentional” card! I really was just playing with the Birds & More dies to see what they look like. I then did the next thing I do in the design process and choose colors. I saw a Crumb Cake piece that was already run through with the Subtle 3-D folder and then a Soft Suede piece. I will be honest, this set was hard (at first) to come up with a design. I literally placed all the pieces onto my craft space, and they landed like this! Then, the wheels just started turning!!!
I grabbed the stamp set and some Soft Suede ink and started stamping the birds. It took a few tries to get the right balance of color. I stamped the detailed image with the Soft Suede ink and then stamped off Crumb Cake ink for the body fill stamp. (stamping in this order was easier to line up the 2 step stamping) I cut them out with the dies, and then started stamping the background so it fit inside the detailed circle.
I then stamped off Rococo Rose flowers and cut them out. I did distress the edges of the flowers with a sponge and Rococo Rose ink. Next, I grabbed some Vellum Card Stock and cut out 2 of the vine borders. I chose where to ink the feet of the birds and then adhered them with dimensionals. I finished off the card with gold twin from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo pack, some pearls, and the sentiment.
Stay tuned for more creations from my open house that kicked off the New 2020-21 Annual Catalog! It was so nice to see my customers again! I had them schedule their time so I had no more than 2 at a time. I was able to visit and not feel rushed too! Plus, I was able to clean the Make n Take items between guests! It was a success and I think I will keep the scheduled times going forward!
So I have to share this silly picture of one of my two cats, Jasper! I was prepping to take pictures of cards with my photo box. And he had other plans!

We booked our annual Mother’s Day Retreat back in January not knowing that the virus would be such a strain on everything. Our state allowed our retreat to re-open on May 1st and we were delighted to be the first to stay there since the lock down. I had not really had my hopes up that we would be able to go, to this was a very welcome break!
I love my child and I have always respected what teachers do and what they have to deal with (parents/students), but this e-learning has taught me that being a school teacher was never in the cards for me! (five days left, five days left).
I made this card for our monthly (now virtual) stamp club. I wanted it to be a little easier than the cards we do in person. I type up a PDF and a video of the technique so they can follow along on how to recreate the technique. It’s worked well this past two months. I wanted some summery fun colors, so I chose Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green for my colors. I then ran a piece of Whisper White through the die cutting machine with the Lace dies.
Next, I used the Medium Daisy and Daisy punches to make the flowers pop! The larger daisies are cut out with one Whisper White and on Vellum Card. The smaller ones are punched out with Whisper White. To give the Granny Apple Green some texture, I ran it through the die cutting machine with the Subtle 3-D folder. A quick sentiment and a Gold Faceted gem finishes of this cheerful card!
Oh, I am sooooo excited for the NEW catalog to go live on June 3rd! Look at this adorable Jar of Flowers stamp set! I am a sucker for Mason jars and farmhouse style-so when I saw this on the pre-order, it was in my basket! Did you notice the cute Mason Jar Shaker Domes??? There is double sided tape on both sides so there is no extra adhesive needed to make the shaker cards! There is a coordinating Jar punch to make these a snap to make too!
Tip, be sure that you allow enough room to get your flowers stamped and the where the punch can reach the jar. They also have Flowers for Every Season Gems, so I put a dozen or so in the jar! There are reversible stamps in this one too! I made the water line with the opposite side of the detailed water stamp!
I have really enjoyed using my Stampin’ Blends lately. For this card I used the Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry, and Mossy Meadow combo packs. I added some Wink of Stella (I know, shocking!) to the flowers and finished off the jar with the 3/16″ Braided Trim. I wanted a clean look, so I used the Subtle 3D Folder and Stitched so Sweetly dies for the rest of the card!

It is Spring Break here in Texas! And it is raining today….sigh. But that is okay!!!! This card shows the fun beach and summer fun that is unfolding! Fun in the sun is so close and I can’t wait to see all the beautiful colors that are starting to poke out!
I have really enjoyed using the Timeless Tropical bundle for my creations! To create the soft and subtle look to the flowers, I used the Rock n Roll technique. It is a great technique for beginners and is still a favorite among the advanced stamper! For the large hibiscus flower, I first stamped with So Saffron and then lightly rolled just the edges with Calypso Coral. The smaller flowers is stamped first in Mango Medley and the edges are rolled with Pumpkin Pie.
To create a ratan feeling to the background, I ran a piece of Crumb Cake through the die cutting machine with the Coastal Weave 3-D embossing folder. Then, I used a sponge with Crumb Cake ink to create more texture and depth to the embossed surface. Next, I popped up a pattern of birds of paradise from the Tropical Oasis DSP using dimensionals. (this is a gorgeous pack of double sided paper that can be used for all paper projects and scrapbook pages!!) The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of Mango Medley after I created a banner on the edge.
The Champagne Basic Jewels and Wink of Stella clear finish this creation with some sparkle! (to create the champagne color you can also use the Mango Medley Blends on your Basic Jewels)

I remember thumbing through the Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog and thinking this set was cute. It wasn’t until I saw tons of super adorable cards made on Pinterest and the internet that I HAD to have it! This card was designed in minutes! Simple and perfect for your fashion divas in your life! I can see so many more wonderful ideas coming for this card!
Petal Pink is usually not one of my first colors that I turn to, but it really works with this card! I started by stamping the floral bunches and sprigs on Petal Pink card stock with Black Memento ink randomly. Then I stamped the perfume bottle and cut it out with the coordinating die. There is a fun watercolor swoosh that I stamped with Petal Pink in the center of the bottle. Of course I had to use Wink of Stella to make the perfume bottle sparkle!
Next I stamped the sentiment in Black Memento and cut it out with the scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I adhered the Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon behind the cardstock with the sentiment. I used dimensionals to make the images pop! To finish off the card, I placed a Champagne Basic Rhinestone!

I seriously cannot get enough of this set! I LOVE it! I grew up playing the piano on a very beginner level. I sold my piano when I was in my early 20’s because I didn’t want to move it. I sadly have lost my touch when reading music, but I love hearing music played on the piano! What is your favorite type of musical instrument?
I made this card for my Sweet & Simple class this month! You can always add a valentine sentiment (or which ever one you need). We just stamped the music staff and treble clef with Black Memento and added notes. Then, we colored the inside of the heart with the Poppy Parade dark Blends. We added Dimensionals to pop up the Whisper White piece.
The Peaceful Poppies DSP makes such a beautiful back drop for any card! You almost don’t need stamps! (eek!) TIP: To make bows effortlessly, place a glue dot under where you start your knot. This will hold it while you loop your bow!

My bestie and I just went on a craft retreat last weekend! It was so nice to have some creative time after such a busy holiday! We live in the crazy weather state-Texas! While at the retreat-we had severe weather (including tornadoes) and snow the next morning! Just crazy! But it inspired me to use this lovely Under My Umbrella Bundle!
I saw a card on Pinterest that inspire me to use the No Line Watercolor technique for the main image!i love the softness it created! To create this: use ink pads or markers to stamp the lined portion of your stamp on to paper. The. You will use a Blender pen and re-inker to color the insiders the image in the matching color. The results are stunning!
Next step is to stamp the umbrella on to the card stock color of your choice and punch it out. I added some extra bling with the new Champagne Basic Jewels! That needs to be a staple in our main catalog! Love these! Next, I added some rain drops in Pool Party on Pool Party cardstock. I cut out the stamped image and sentiment using the Stitched Nested labels. Of course I had to add Wink of Stella on the flowers!

I needed a couple of quick cards the other day and I had just opened the new Peaceful Poppies DSP pack! The colorful patterns made it so easy to add a sentiment and some dimension-then done!
I made one for a dear friend of mine that I wanted to cheer up. The other if was for my sister in law’s birthday. It’s January 4th, and it sneaks up on me every year! Birthdays around the holidays are hard. I try so hard to separate their birthday from the holiday.
To create some dimension, I ran a piece of Basic Black through the die cutting machine and then added some Silver Thread tousled behind it. I then punched out a small sentiment and adhered it with dimensionals. The finishing touch was a little Wink of Stella on the main flowers.
I stamped the poppy flower with Poppy Parade color on color for the card base. I cut the from the same sheet of DSP, but a little smaller. I framed it with a Basic Black mat that was run through with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. I finished it off with a sentiment and some Wink of Stella.

I am off to a craft retreat this weekend! I will have PLENTY to share when I am back next week! Hugs,
My creative mojo was definitely flowing when I made this card! When I looked at what I had in my basket after I was done, I realized that I had made one of those $100 cards! LOL!
I used 4 punches, 2 stamp sets, a die, linen thread, epoxy gem, and cardstock. Now, I had a great tip from a fellow demonstrator on how to build your “sandwich” with your die cutting machine to help cut out all those little dots on the lace!
You will need your die cutting machine, multipurpose platform (that has tabs), precision plate, 1 clear standard pad, wax paper, lint roller, and die brush.
Place one piece of wax paper onto the precision plate (which is on top of the multipurpose plate on tab 2).
Then place your paper on top of the wax paper at an angle.
Place a second sheet of wax paper on top of the paper.
Place your Stitched Lace die on top of the wax/paper at and angle. (this helps keep the die from warping)
Run it through the die cutting machine once for Whisper White and twice for other cardstock/thicker DSP)
Use a lint roller to remove the small pieces.
For the stubborn last few pieces, you can use the die brush to coax them out!
Works like a charm each time! My club girls have had no problems!!!

I thought I would share the cute pictures of one of my fur babies, Jasper! He decided it was time to help out!
I am so happy to see vintage cards making a comeback! This is one style that really drew me into creating cards over 15 years ago! When the new catalog was unveiled at On Stage, I knew this would be first on my list! The Woven Heirlooms stamp set has some sincere statements and some distressed elements to compliment any card or project!
The whole Woven Threads suite is just gorgeous! AND you can order it with one code!!! The Woven Threads DSP has some beautiful patterns that are distressed! They paired some new In Colors into some unique combinations! I used a more monocromatic look for my card. The sentiment is stamped with Crumb Cake on to the paper with the vintage muslin looking design. (I tried to used Sahara Sand ink, but it was too faint). I taped it behind the frame I made from the Heirloom Frames Dies & 3D Embossing Folders combo.
To create the flower, I stamped the flower from the Floral Essesnce stampe set in Rococo Rose onto the DSP that had the Rococo Rose distressed design. I used the coordinating Perrennial Flower punch and the Leaf Punch for a quick flower embellishment. I then used the new Rococo Rose Dark Blend to color in the gem.
The 1/2″ Rococo Rose Gathered ribbon looks soooooo pretty in person!! It really pops off of this card! I used a strip of SNAIL and then pressed a little down, then folded a little to the right, and pressed down again to create the rouching!
I hope you enjoyed this card-I know that the girls in my stamp club loved it!
