I am so happy that Stampin’ Up! has unveiled the new Water Color pencils! So easy to use and many different way as well! (They are so popular, that they are on backorder and will be put on “not orderable” soon! So get yours now! Don’t worry, they are working on getting more, they just have to turn off the item number until the supply is back.
I decided to teach my club members the Black Magic technique. Here is how we achieved this ombre look!
- We stamped the dragonfly with Craft Whisper White on to Basic Black. We then used the heat tool to dry.
- We used the Tempting Turquoise for the body. Using the Calypso Coral on the inner most wing towards the body. Then Rich Razzleberry in the middle of the wing. It was finished on the tips with Melon Mambo.
Easy Peas!! So sweet looking too! I used the Blooms & Bliss DSP for the patterned strip. I thought the Brick Wall embossing folder made a great background with extra texture.
The sentiment is from Awesomely Artistic and cut out with the Project Life Labels.
