There is a beautiful pack of Designers Series Paper (DSP) in the Occasions Catalog! Petal Passion! It’s all black and white, but you can use all sorts of techniques to create gorgeous cards! I made this one for a dear friend’s birthday earlier this month! They are easy to color with Blends (like the one above), color with the Sponge Brayer & Ink, and even your Stampin’ Write Markers!
You know I had to add Wink of Stella to the blossoms! You can make 6 cards per sheet of DSP! And the pack has 12 sheets (2 of each of the 6 designs) You can’t go wrong! Just throw a sentiment and some ribbon, and your done!
Also, I am so close to my monthly goal! I am just $85 away! I have a hostess code for anyone who would like to help out and it will ship to you when using the code! There are a lot of great framelits on sale in the clearance section as well as the retiring lists! I will send you a thank you gift too for helping out! Create an account or log in.

The Picture Perfect Party Suite has been one of my favorites from the Occasions Catalog! There is still a month left that you can purchase the wonderful products from this suite and the whole catalog!
I made this card for another SWAP for Stampin’ Up’s OnStage earlier this month. I love how the colors pop and celebrate your recipient’s big day! For the candles, I stamped off the solid image and used full strength ink for the patterns. Next, I used the new Stamparatus to line up the Happy Birthday going down the side! Then I ran the Berry Burst strip of paper through the Big Shot with the Sequins Dynamic Embossing Folder. This was followed by the Myth & Magic glimmer paper, the Picture Perfect Party DSP pack, and some Silver Baker’s Twine!
Here is the April Hostess Code B9SXQTFB. IF you are ordering $150 or more, you don’t need to use the code. Reap those hostess benefits! Grab your friends and place an order together too! So many great deals and some products are already selling out!
Look at what you can order Starting May 1st!!! New products too!
I love how easy it is to make an elegant and graceful card with the Beautiful Peacock! This is one of the FREE choices from the Sale-a-bration catalog with a $50 purchase! It is a photopolymer set which makes it easy for lining up Eastern Palace DSP. I used Versa Mark and Gold embossing powder for the swirly part of the feathers.
Then, I used coordinating Fresh Fig and Tranquil Tide to complete the small flower details around the feathers. Finally, I topped it off with the 1/8″ Fresh Fig ribbon!

I am soooo happy that the Daisy Punch is back in stock! This is by far my favorite items so far! So easy to make quick cards like the one above! I literally made this in 5 minutes flat! I love to use the color combinations that they have in the Designer Series Paper designs! I just flip over the pack and read the colors used! To add more colors you can stamp off your inks for lighter shades of the ink pads! Gives you more mileage on your ink and color choices!
I just stamped color on color (Wisteria Wonder) and punched out 2 daisies. Used a couple glue dots to adhere together. Then I used my bone folder to fluff the petals. To create the fun fold, I cut the DSP paper to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. Then I cut down the center with the Paper Trimmer (helpful because you control how far the blade cuts into your paper). Finally I folded the pieces back on themselves and placed some adhesive on the back to keep them flat. Crease with a Bone Folder to help. I finished it off with a Silver Faceted gem and took out my Calypso Coral marker to add the faux stitches.

I was sad to see that Oh, So Succulent wasn’t going to be in the new Idea Book and Catalog in June. So, I had to show you one of my favorite cards I made with that set. I love the earthy colors with pops of color! Sweet and simple layout that has that “wow” factor!
I stampe the flower in Calyspo Coral and Sweet Sugarplum. The grass was Old Olive with an Always Artichoke outline. I then “flicked” some Always Artichoke to give it some visual interest. A few gold sequins and the yummy Metallic Gold Ribbon from Sale a Bration! (so glad I have more!)
I finished off with some linen thread and a sentiment stamped on Crumb Cake. Be sure to order this set before it’s gone! Click the Retiring PDF and shop my store today!
My girls at stamp club have been asking to learn how to make shaker cards! So, wish granted! How cute did this turn out? I used the Cool Treats Bundle and the Sprinkles Embellishments to add the FUN!
They are a lot easier to make than they look! The Foam Adhesive Strips make it super simple to make your shaker hold all the contents!
First: Choose your image and stamp in on a base piece/shape of your choice. I used the Layering Ovals here.
Next: Cut out a piece of Window Sheet to match the above shape. (It must be the same size to keep all the pieces inside the shaker)
Next: Add a Oval Frame to go on top of the window sheet. Be sure it’s wide enough to cover the Foam Adhesive.
Putting it all together: Take your Foam Adhesive Strip and lay it down & bend it to make the contour of your shape. Push down to ensure it’s adhered. Then add your sprinkles (glitter, sand, sequins). Use the embossing buddy on the window sheet before to remove any static. (especially for glitter). Wipe the evident residue off. Then peel off the top layer of the foam adhesive and attach window sheet. I finished it off with Fast Fuse to the matching frame.
All done! I would recommend a bubble mailer and extra postage so it doesn’t get damaged if you mail it.
Who wouldn’t want to get this on their birthday??
STAY TUNED! We are off to On Stage this weekend in Shreveport!! I will post a ton of pictures and a few sneak peeks that I can of the upcoming catalog!

Do you ever start a card/project, and it doesn’t go as planned? I do all the time. In fact, I have an entire draw full of “potential” cards! I finally used this card base that has been in my stash! It’s so easy and quick to make! I am making it for a SWAP for our upcoming ON Stage local event in April! (hint: it’s also a Try it Night card!)
First I started with Smoky Slate ink and stamped the big rose stamp randomly on Smoky Slate cardstock. Then I cut out the leaves with Basic Black.
I used Black Momento ink and the Rose Garden Thinlits to cut out the sentiment. I love how the stamp set has a frame to make the die piece pop! A little bling and ribbon. Done!

I used the Special Reason stamp set and Stylish Stems to create a masculine card! I used the rubber insert that Stampin’ Up! cuts out for us! I love it when they do that, because it’s a new stamp/shape that you weren’t counting on! I used it to make the argyle like background. I used Marina Mist, Soft Sky, and Early Espresso for the background colors.
I also used the new Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to create some texture to the card. I love adding linen thread to create so whimsy for this card. I did have to fussy cut the banner, but it was worth it!

Avant Garden is a beautiful stamp set that is offered in the Sale a Bration catalog! I actually didn’t give it a lot of thought at first. But look at what stunning cards it can create! This one is so simple to put together! I used the color palette from the Blooms & Bliss DSP. I love the early spring feel that these colors express! I first stamped the flower in Blushing Bride twice-diagonal from each other. I left space in the center knowing I would fill it with the sentiment. After cleaning that stamp, I then used Sweet Sugarplum and stamped two times on the opposite corners. I used Rich Razzleberry for the center pistils. Mint Macaron was the color used for both leaf images. I topped it off with Sahara Sand using the random splatter. To add texture and depth; I added the burlap ribbon attached to the new Succulent Garden 3/8″ Ribbon Combo Pack. It is super soft and easy to manipulate. A quick staple and some glue dots finish the sentiment that was cut out with the Project Life Labels. I then added the delicate touch of a doily and some pearls. The main image was popped up with dimensionals on top of the DSP.
I almost added Wink of Stella, but I resisted! CHeck out the other FREE items you can earn with every $50 purchase by clicking the Sale-a-Bration link.
The Fresh Fruit stamp set is so vibrant and summery! This also debuts the Peek a Boo peach In Color for 2016-2018. I finally got the Layering Circles as well! I really like them! It lets you pick a little or a lot for the bigger layer! The new sized Doily’s are great! Stampin’ Up! made them a little bit smaller and more intricate than the other ones. The burlap ribbon is so addicting too!
