I was so excited when I saw the Daisy Lane stamp set in the catalog! What a great addition to the Daisy Delight and Daisy Punch from last year’s catalog! AND there is a new Medium Daisy punch that is a little smaller to help you make even more detailed flowers!
I made this card for my Sweet & Simple class that I hold once a month. It is a popular class for people who are new stampers or for those that need a creative fix! I used the new Birch background stamp and stamped Sahara Sand on Very Vanilla. Next, I placed the Very Vanilla piece on top of the Rococo Rose card base (my favorite new IN-Color!) and stamped the stems with Pretty Peacock. This made the placement of the daisies much easier. I then stamped the daisies off-set onto the card base and the Very Vanilla.
As you can see, I learned the hard way. But it’s still a pretty card! To finish the card, I then stamped 2 more daisies on a scrap piece of paper and then punched them out. I jused a dimensionnal to place them on top of the one on the Very Vanilla. I then added some Wink of Stella Clear to the centers. The sentiment was stamped with Pretty Peacock and cut out with the new Timeless Label punch! I added some Pretty Peacock to a sponge and distressed the edges before adhering it with dimensionals.
I had my NEW Catlaog Launch & Customer Apprecition event last weekend! It was a hit! AND I reached my first career sales milestone!!! 100k! Here are a few items I made with the new IN Colors ! A set of cards using the A Little Lace stamp set and the In Color 6×6 card pack.
Stampin’ Up! has already placed the Daisy Lane stamp set as a top seller!!! I can see why! The Medium Daisy punch is on it’s way here-I can’t wait to create more with it!
I had so much fun creating this card last weekend at our craft retreat weekend! We timed our retreat perfectly so we can play with our pre-order products! The Magnolia Lane Suite became my favorite to create with! You will have to have this suite in your stash! (especially if you are from Texas).
To create this 3-D card, I used the Magnolia Memory dies to create the flowers and leaves. I used a Sponge Dauber and some Blushing Bride to color from the center to the outer section of the petals. I used a couple Glue Dots on the backs to layer them together. Next, I cut out the pistils with Blushing Bride and layered them on top of the Whisper White petals. To finish off the flowers, I added some Wink of Stella and a pearl.
They looked more like orchids, so I used the branch from the Seasonal Layers dies. The background was using one of my favorite go-to embossing folders, Subtle!! It’s a must have! The sentiment was cut out using the new Stitched Nested Labels! (I went a little crazy with this card!!)
Did you know that if you join our team today, you can order off the PRE-order as part of your custom kit??? Just think how jealous your friends will be that you have the newest products before they do! For $99, you get to pick $125 of current product offerings!

Oh my, the Butterfly Gala bundle is my favorite out of the Occasions Catalog! The punch pops out both butterfly images at the same time! And the photopolymer stamps make the placement a snap! The stamps have two butterflies that line up perfect with the punch! You can make tons of them!
I used Daffodil Delight and Grapefruit Grove among with sponge daubers to color the butterflies! Just gorgeous!
To make the Ombre look, I stamped the small solid butterfly full strength and then two more times before re-inking the stamp. I love the Gingham Gala DSP pack and how easy it makes such gorgeous cards! This card was made for my Sweet & Simple class. Now I need to make a Valentine’s Day card for the 2nd card!
This is a sweet deal for you craft addicts!!! $129 for the tote PLUS $175 in current catalog items of YOUR choice!!

Do you love the farmhouse style? I absolutely love it! It was the first suite I was drawn to in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog! The Tin Tile Embossing Folder has amazing details and using the new Galvanized Silver Foil Sheet makes it pop!
Moving on to the tree! It comes from the In the Woods dies! I love how it creates parts of the tree that are 3-D. I saw. Post on Patty Bennett’s site about using your Spritzer with rubbing alcohol and some Frost White Shimmer Paint. The results are amazing!
This picture does to do the tree justice! The Champagne Mist color is very elegant as well! (think Wink of Stella on steroids) To finish the card, I added some 5/8″ Striped Burlap Trim, a Galvanized Button, some Linen Thread, and a sentiment!
This was a stamp a stack card this past weekend. I cut and spritzed the trees for them so there isn’t a log jam at the Big Shot. But the end result makes it worth it!
Confession! After using the Big Shot for over 10 years, I have never ruined a die. Well, I put the die and the paper on top of the sandwich. I ran it through thinking it felt and sounded odd. I completely bowed the die!!!!! It was my first of 32 to make! I cut the rest out with the warped die. Then, I flipped it and ran it through incorrectly again. I was so nervous! But to my surprise, it flattened it out! Like it never happened! Shew!!

How fun are lemons when it starts to feel like summer?? We made this card for my Stamp a Stack of cards a few weeks ago. This card is simple to make with the Lemon Zest stamp set and coordinating Lemon Punch! The lemons have the thick black and white striped paper from the Petal Passion DSP (that is retiring! -sniffle!) that anchors the main images. Then the petals and lemons were stamped with Old Olive and Daffodil Delight. To create depth, we used dimensionals.
Next, we wrapped Whisper White Baker’s Twine around the Whisper White piece of paper. To finish the card, we added Basic Rhinestones and a bright Lemon Lime Twist card base!
Such a fun card for a birthday-and uni-sex too!
Can you believe the NEW Idea Book and Catalog is going to be live in 10 days??? Do you need a catalog? You can’t wait?? Then check out the Share What You Love bundles!! It’s an early release option for those who are itching to get their hands on new Stampin’ Up! products!
I have always admired people who make quilts! I have even thought of trying to make one. But, I need another hobby like a hole in my head! Giggle!! So, I decided to use the Tailored Tag Punch to make my panels and then I glued the pieces down in a semi-random pattern. I trimmed off the excess and then ran it through the Big Shot with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder.
To add extra detail to the sentiment, I used my Rich Razzleberry Marker to make faux stitches. A little ribbon and it was done (with no Wink of Stella!!) Shocker! This is the technique card for stamp club this month.
Be sure to get your retiring colors before they are gone! And I added links to the retired list for both the Occasions Catalog and the Annual Catalog 2017-2018! You can have it shipped to you even if you are not local to me!
Here is the April Hostess Code B9SXQTFB! Happy Stampin’!
I am really addicted to the Daisy Delight Bundle! You can make so many different cards, scrapbook pages, and 3-D projects! I made this card for my Sweet & Simple class & Card Class at the Cancer Support Community Center that I hold once a month. A fellow friend/demonstrator here in Frisco showed me a similar card and I had to make my own twist on it!
First, I punched out a Whisper White daisy with the Daisy Punch and placed it aside. Then I used a 2 7/8″ square of Calypso Coral and placed a dot in the center.
I took my ruler and measured corner to corner. It was 4″ so I marked lightly at 2″ and then rotated to measure the opposite corners. I marked that at 2″ to get me close to perfect center. This way when I punched it, I could see the center.
When you place the Calypso Coral (with dimensionals on the back) on top of the Whisper White, you create a daisy from the negative space. I placed the Whisper White Daisy on top rotated to may a fluffy daisy.
I then add the beautiful Calypso Coral Ombre’ Ribbon and matted the daisy with Basic Gray. I did use Wink of Stella on the center of the daisy. I stamped off the solid center with Smoky Slate, then followed with full strength of Smoky Slate. Then toped it off with the Wink of Stella.
I love how simple and clean it turned out! Thanks for stopping by!
