Colorful Harvest

Here in Texas, we are desperately trying to summon fall!! It is still in the high 90’s-and we are so ready for the crisp fall air and all of the comfort that comes with it! I made this at our Labor Day Retreat and it is one of my favorites! I just love how the creative mojo can just keep flowing when I am in my zone!!

This card started as one idea, but it changed courses quickly! The Come to Gather Suite is just gorgeous! The pops of color, the textures, and the coordination of accessories make it so easy to create beautiful projects! First, I stamped my Terracotta Tile cardstock with the large leaf stamp from the Gather Together stamp set. Then I ran a piece of Early Espresso through the die cutting machine with the Pinewood Planks 3-D folder. Next I cut out a ton of leaves! Some with Copper Foil, Pretty Peacock (Teal colored pumpkins/fall décor is in this year), Terracotta Tile, and Cajun Craze. Some of the leaves were sponged with the new Copper Delicata Metallic Ink. The big leaf was stamped with VersaMark and heat set with Copper Embossing Powder for more pop! I love the Copper Embossing Powder on the Very Vanilla Pumpkin too! I finished off the card with a Merry Merlot piece punched out with Merry Merlot! I tucked the saying on a small banner of Crumb Cake that was sponged and then added the 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon in Pretty Peacock!

This is one of those cards I will have a hard time giving away! I will just have to make frame art similar!
