I had so much fun creating this card last weekend at our craft retreat weekend! We timed our retreat perfectly so we can play with our pre-order products! The Magnolia Lane Suite became my favorite to create with! You will have to have this suite in your stash! (especially if you are from Texas).
To create this 3-D card, I used the Magnolia Memory dies to create the flowers and leaves. I used a Sponge Dauber and some Blushing Bride to color from the center to the outer section of the petals. I used a couple Glue Dots on the backs to layer them together. Next, I cut out the pistils with Blushing Bride and layered them on top of the Whisper White petals. To finish off the flowers, I added some Wink of Stella and a pearl.
They looked more like orchids, so I used the branch from the Seasonal Layers dies. The background was using one of my favorite go-to embossing folders, Subtle!! It’s a must have! The sentiment was cut out using the new Stitched Nested Labels! (I went a little crazy with this card!!)
