One bonus of being at home is that I am finally stepping out of my comfort zone and making more videos! What are you doing to pass the time?
Here is a super simple technique you can use for your more detailed line images. You stamp the whole image onto Rococo Rose card stock and then stamp the image again onto a Whisper White cardstock and punch out your focal point! The results are stunning and elegant! Plus you can make quite a few in a short amount of time! Send some love to those you miss seeing! I promise that it will melt their heart!
Here is a close up of the focal point! I used the Epoxy Frosted/Clear Droplets to create some bling. Use the Rococo Rose Dark Blend pen to color your vellum and then punch it out with the Twig Punch. Custom colored vellum in a snap!
This card started as a completely different idea in my head! Does this ever happen to you? I wanted to make a card with the Under My Umbrella bundle. As you can see-that didn’t happen. The color inspiration came from the Dressed to Impress DSP! The flowers in the DSP were so close to the smaller roses in the Beautiful Friendship (Anuual Catalog 149252, pg 123), that I was going to make a light background with them. Well, the thought train derailed and jumped onto a different track! I LOVE how it turned out!
One of the benefits of the Beautiful Friendship stamp set is that you can stamp in generations! (stamp on the ink pad once and get 1 to 3 images from that one inking).
The roses were stamped with Lovely Lipstick, but I stamped on my grid paper first, then the Whisper White to make it a softer hue. I adore hydrangeas! I wish it wasn’t so hot in Texas-my yard would have tons of them! So, for those, I stamped them with the Highland Heather and used the one inking 2 times! The leaves Mint Macaron at full strength and the accent sprig was stamped with So Saffron. The big rose bunch was stamped with Blushing Bride.
I stamped the sentiment with Basic Grey so it wasn’t so in your face! Then I colored the Basic Pearls with the Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend. A few brushes of Wink of Stella and some Polka-Dot Tule and it was done! I did stamp some edges of leaves and hydrangeas to the sentiment so it blended in a bit.

I love watercolor and hydrangea flowers! The Beautiful Friendship stamp set is just gorgeous!! I love the color combination with this card-but I liked the “stamped off” images better than when I tried it with full strength ink.
I made this for my Sweet & Simple card class last month. Sometimes I have a hard time not adding more and more to a card! Occupational hazard! 🙂 I used the new Scripty 3-D Folder to make the Sahara Sand banner have some texture. I also used a Stampin’ Sponge (cut in 1/4 pieces) and some Sahara Sand ink to rub over the whole banner. It really made the script detail stand out!
My inspiration were from 2 cards that were in Stampin’ Up! publications. One was in the wonderful magazine we get quarterly, Stampin’ Success. (a perk of being a demonstrator) The other was in the catalog itself. I played with the colors until this combination made me smile! Seaside Spray, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Merry Merlot, and So Saffron was the winning combination!
The new Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets are an extra “wow” factor for this card! I also used the new Story Label Punch for a quick and easy sentiment! I finished the card with the Braided Trim bow!
Did you know that through the month of July you can earn a $5 coupon with EVERY $50 you spend?? You get to use the $5 coupons in August!

I am so happy to see vintage cards making a comeback! This is one style that really drew me into creating cards over 15 years ago! When the new catalog was unveiled at On Stage, I knew this would be first on my list! The Woven Heirlooms stamp set has some sincere statements and some distressed elements to compliment any card or project!
The whole Woven Threads suite is just gorgeous! AND you can order it with one code!!! The Woven Threads DSP has some beautiful patterns that are distressed! They paired some new In Colors into some unique combinations! I used a more monocromatic look for my card. The sentiment is stamped with Crumb Cake on to the paper with the vintage muslin looking design. (I tried to used Sahara Sand ink, but it was too faint). I taped it behind the frame I made from the Heirloom Frames Dies & 3D Embossing Folders combo.
To create the flower, I stamped the flower from the Floral Essesnce stampe set in Rococo Rose onto the DSP that had the Rococo Rose distressed design. I used the coordinating Perrennial Flower punch and the Leaf Punch for a quick flower embellishment. I then used the new Rococo Rose Dark Blend to color in the gem.
The 1/2″ Rococo Rose Gathered ribbon looks soooooo pretty in person!! It really pops off of this card! I used a strip of SNAIL and then pressed a little down, then folded a little to the right, and pressed down again to create the rouching!
I hope you enjoyed this card-I know that the girls in my stamp club loved it!
Wow! The Petal Promenade Suite is just gorgeous! I can picture wedding/anniversary cards, birthday cards, and so much more with the Petal Promenade DSP! The flowers are so soft and blend so well together! The set, Beautiful Promenade, and it’s matching Beautiful Layers Thinlits help you create stunning works of art with minimal effort!
I love that the dies include an envelope liner so your card looks even more special for the recipient! There are so many fun shapes and images that will meet a lot of your card making needs!
I stamped the inside of the flower with Petal Pink and the outside part of the flower with Fresh Fig. Next, I cut a 2″ by 3″ piece of Fresh Fig and ran the tag edge on each short end to create a fun tag! There are a couple of border type stamps that add flair to your creation! I also added some Tea Room Combo ribbon tousled behind the flower. I finished it off with some Wink of Stella, a sentiment, and some leaves!
Don’t forget about these fabulous promotions! And when you sign up, you can use the Buy 3, get one Free as an option in your customizable kit!
I finally was able to play with some of my new goodies at our retreat a couple weeks ago! This card was one of the 3 projects our stamp club made! If features a new color, Soft Sea Foam, as well as Abstract Impressions stamp set! It makes the most beautiful floral cards! The DSP is from the new Garden Impressions 6×6 pack, which coordinates with the Metallic Ribbon Combo. The combo has the new Shaded Spruce color and Petal Pink that both have glimmer weaved in each.
Did you notice the stitching? It came from the new Stitched Labels Framelits!! There are so many fun shapes that include stitching that add that special texture to your creations!
I love the deep, rich color of the Shaded Spruce and Blueberry Bushel! The color on the pad case just doesn’t do it justice! The flowers were made with 3 colors: first was Blushing Bride, then Calypso Coral, and lastly, Melon Mambo. I did finish it off with some Wink of Stella!
June also marks the Creative Class To Go’s return!! I am almost done typing it up and it’s a great set of cards! It features the new Lily Pad Lake bundle! Look out for details on how to get your FREE card kit June 1st!
I made a very similar card for a dear friend’s wedding. I loved it so much that I re-made it for a club card for this month! The Petal Palette stamp set and matching Petals & More Thinlits have been a favorite this past month!
I first stamped the leaf bunch with Pool Party on Pool Party card stock. I did stamp off on one of the layers to give it a more subtle feel. Next, I cut out the ornate accent with Silver Foil and layered half of a Doily underneath. I tussled some Silver Bakers twine behind the flowers after using dimensionals to pop it up. Look how ornate and elegant the Stampin’ Blends make the colors on the bouquet! Of course I added Wink of Stella Clear to the flowers!
The Garden Trellis embossing folder was used for more texture behind the flowers. It was finished off with a sentiment from the Petal Pallet set cut out with the thinlit included.

A special friend and customer requested an in home party! I haven’t done one in over a year! She wanted to show her friends a fun fold-so this is what I came up with! I fell in love with the Petal Garden Suite because of the beautiful rose stamp set, Graceful Garden, and the coordinating items!!
I first used a piece of Whisper White Thick cardstock and scored at 4 1/2″ and 2 1/8″. Then I folded and scored them in a valley-mountain fashion. You have to get the Petal Garden DSP pack!! Just beautiful colors and patterns!! Next, I used the Garden Trellis embossing folder and the results are just elegant!
I used the Aqua Painter to color in the images to give it a soft colored look. I finished it off with a sentiment from Wood Words and the new Classic Label punch! And you know if used Wink of Stella Clear on my flower, right?
Oh my! We can all order from the catalog now!!! Look at this beautiful hostess set that you can earn by booking a party or ordering $150 or more! Tranquil Tulips! I had to get it on the ore order. I usually wait with the hostess sets-but this one was a must have-now! 😋
I made this card for this Sunday’s New Catalog Open House! I did stamp off the Real Red ink before stamping on my paper. I paired it with Wild Wasabi leaves and Basic Black for the pistils. The sentiment is from Eastern Palace, I just straightened the word before stamping. I wanted some texture with out adding too much-so I used the Hexagon Dynamic Embossing Folder with Real Red.
Want to earn this set? This month you can get extra host dollars with a party of $350 or more! I have dates available!
The Basket Bunch stamp set is so much fun! I first created this cute Easter Basket with the chocolate bunny! Then I thought it would be nice to let my club girls have a choice of which card to make. So, I created the basket of daffodils!
On the bunny card: I used Versa Mark and Clear Embossing Powder to make it look like they had been stamped. I think the bunny looks like a chocolate bunny this way! And the sentiment is way too cute!
I chose the Succulent Garden DSP because the gingham paper just screamed out Easter/Spring colors!! I love how the basket has texture when you add the two layers together too! I used my paper piercer to fray the Whisper White Baker’s Twine.
Here is the daffodil card:
I chose not to put a handle on this one. I adore daffodils, so this card just makes me happy! And you know I added Wink of Stella to the petals!!
This time of year is bittersweet! A new catalog on the horizon (and it will knock your socks off!!) But-Stampin’ Up! needs to move out the old first!
