Have you ever wanted to have a stamped image go in the opposite direction? With Valentine’s Day approaching, I thought it would be fun to share the Mirror technique with you! The best part of this technique is that it is super simple!
To make the card above, you will need a Soft Suede card base (5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″) folded in half. Next, run a piece of Crumb Cake (4″ x 5 1/4″) through the Stamp, Cut, and Emboss Machine (SCEM) using the Tasteful Textiles EF. Grab a piece of the You’re a Peach DSP (1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″) and adhere that to the Crumb Cake.
Now for the fun part!
You will need to stamp the image on the Silicone Mat, then turned it face down onto your paper. All you need is a slight press-too much could leave smudges. Then you stamp the same image next to it to make your mirror image.

I used a Blending Brush and Granny Apple Green to create the green grass area paired with the blades of grass stamp. I colored in the grass blades with the Granny Apple Green Blends. For the hedgehogs, I used both light/dark Crumb Cake and light Soft Suede. The butterfly was colored with light/dark Pumpkin Pie Blends. I attached that piece to a Soft Suede mat and adhered it using Dimensionals. To finish the card, I tied a bow with Linen thread.
What will you dream up with this amazing technique?? I also made a YouTube video! Check it out and subscribe so you don’t miss a thing!

Love this technique!!! So many uses!!! Thanks for sharing!
