I absolutely LOVE daisies! And when I create a project with daisies, I love to use this color combination! I mixed Misty Moonlight and Basic White with pops of yellows!
I was inspired by a card that I saw on Pinterest by Juleen Henderson! I used the same layout that she posted. The colors and ribbon were switched around to make this card fit my fave color combo!
To create this card: Take a piece of Misty Moonlight (5 1/2″x8 1/2″) and fold in half. Use a Bone Folder to make your fold crisp and tidy! Next, place the open cardstock on the Stamp, Cut, and Emboss Machine (SCEM) with the scallop die that comes in the Scallop Contours dies. (I placed it about 1/2 way to make the front of your card have a scallop and the Basic White inside showing). I used a piece of washi tape or a post it note to hold it in place while I run it through.
Stamp your 3 daises with Basic Gray ink and color the centers with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write marker. Cut them out using the coordinating dies. All that is left is stamping and the embellishments. Stamp your inside Basic White piece with the sentiment of your choice and the splatter stamp towards the bottom of the card so you see it. Adhere that to the inside of the card. Next, stamp the leaves closed to where you will adhere your daisies and then the splatter to add a little visual interest.
I used the Bumblebee Gingham ribbon to tie around the top part of the card. I finished it off with some Basic Rhinestones! I love making cards that are a little different and that are easy to make several in one sitting.
