I have an obsession with fruit themed stamps and Designer Series Paper! I went to our Mother’s Day retreat and ended up making several projects with this super sweet bundle!
Today we drove an hour away to check out our friend’s new peach farm in East Texas! I miss the fruit trees we had when I was growing up, so this was an amazing day trip! They had fresh produce, homemade ice cream (YUM!), and baked goods! We got a quick tour of the orchard too! Soon they will have blackberries ready to pick!
But, you want to know how to create super cute peaches with the Sweet as a Peach set!
I used the new Pale Papaya to stamp the peaches and then I took a sponge dauber with Calypso Coral to dab on the side of the peaches.
A great feature of this bundle is that you can stamp then cut out 3 peaches at a time! I added the peaches after I stamped two of the greenery stamps. I did over lap in the center a little, but I knew I was going to cover it with the sentiment and ribbon.
To finish off this card, I stamped the tiny flowers with Pale Papaya and then added Champagne Rhinestones. Such a sweet and adorable card to brighten someone’s day!
I still love to send out cards. It’s a gesture that needs to be taught and continued! I cherish all the cards my mother sent me over the years. I have them tucked in places and run across them some days. It’s always the perfect message from her in the card for that day. It’s almost like she wants me to find the cards to speak to me! Miss her dearly!
