I had to have the Gold Leafing once I saw it in the Mini Catalog! Can you believe I haven’t used it yet?? Do you ever do that? That is on my list to DO this week! It’s spring break already and we are just staying home. Just praying that they go back this year! LOL!
I did at least play with the gorgeous Art Gallery stamp set and the coordinating Fine Art Floral DSP to create a club card! This paper has color combos that will please all tastes! I am using a lot of Rococo Rose lately-I am probably sad that it’s going to leave the In-Colors this year.
This card was very simple to put together. You start off with a Rococo Rose card base (5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″) and fold in half. Then you cut a piece of the Fine Art Floral DSP & a Merry Merlot piece (2 3/4″ x 4 1/2″ each). I used the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder to create the texture on the Merry Merlot piece.
Next you will stamp the flower sprig on a scrap of Very Vanilla. I inked the whole image with Rococo Rose Ink and then I used a Blender Pen to remove ink on the stems. I went back with a Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write marker. I did add some Wink of Stella to the blooms as well to compliment the other gold embellishments. I cut it out using the largest circle in the Stitched Shapes dies.
Use the sentiment of your choice from the Art Gallery stamp set-I love the selection in this set!! Next, you can adhere the Merry Merlot with adhesive and put Dimensionals on the DSP. I added Stampin’ Seal to the back of the circle so the Fine Art Ribbon would stay in place. I then added some Dimensionals to pop that up. The card is finished with the Gilded Gems.
