I have gone a little overboard with the new Butterfly Brilliance bundle these past couple of weeks! If you are into butterflies-this bundle is a must have! I promise to share my creations! But this one was super quick to make with the stamp set being ONE big stamp and the dies are welded together. That way they line up perfectly and they all cut out at once!
These Blending Brushes are amazing! So much that they are unavailable for just a bit. I promise they are worth the wait!
- They are buttery and velvety soft beyond what I imagined!

- They clean soooooo easy! Most of my ink was rinsed out of the bristles with just a little Dawn dish soap and water. I dried them some on a dry towel and let them air dry overnight.
- You can actually use the same one for different colors with out it leaving residue from the previous color. (if you haven’t washed them yet)
- To make the ink look soft on your surface: apply the ink and with a circular motion, add to your paper.
To create this super simple card, I inked up the whole butterfly stamp with Basic Grey and stamped onto a piece of Basic White paper (3 3/4″ x 5″). Be sure you have one full image of a butterfly to adhere the inked one on top of. I stamped it again on another piece of Basic White-and then cut it out with the dies. I then used Misty Midnight, Rococo Rose, and Balmy Blue to shade the loose butterfly. I love the added Wink of Stella on top to add more pop! I also used Seal on the back of the body, Dimensionals, then more Seal on the edges of the wings. That way it stay arched when you lay it on your cardstock.
I used Smoky Slate for the card base (A2: 8 1/2″x 5 1/2″) and a mat of Basic Grey (4″ x 5 1/4″). The finishing touches are a sentiment and a few Basic Rhinestones.
