Perfectly Plaid

The Perfectly Plaid Bundle has been so useful this season! I have lost count of how many cards, tags, and gift décor I have made with it! This card was for the second Stamp a Stack of Christmas cards I had this month! (It’s my busy season-sorry I haven’t posted as much!)

I started off with a Crumb Cake card base and then a Shaded Spruce background. To create texture, I used the Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I used the Pine Tree punch to cut out 3 trees with the coordinating Wrapped In Plaid 6×6 paper. To create dimension, I used Dimensionals to make the trees pop up on the front of the card. TIP: To center your trees, I adhere the first one in the middle. Then I added a strip of Crumb Cake that I used for the sentiment.

The Pine Cones are accented with Wink of Stella to add some sparkle and I topped each tree with a Gold Metallic pearl. To finish the card, I added a small Linen Thread bow to the center tree. Such a versatile set!

Guess what is coming next week!!! Stampin’ Up! Online Extravaganza on November 20–22, 2019. Stay tuned for more details!
