Soft Flowers

I love watercolor and hydrangea flowers! The Beautiful Friendship stamp set is just gorgeous!! I love the color combination with this card-but I liked the “stamped off” images better than when I tried it with full strength ink.

I made this for my Sweet & Simple card class last month. Sometimes I have a hard time not adding more and more to a card! Occupational hazard! 🙂 I used the new Scripty 3-D Folder to make the Sahara Sand banner have some texture. I also used a Stampin’ Sponge (cut in 1/4 pieces) and some Sahara Sand ink to rub over the whole banner. It really made the script detail stand out!

My inspiration were from 2 cards that were in Stampin’ Up! publications. One was in the wonderful magazine we get quarterly, Stampin’ Success. (a perk of being a demonstrator) The other was in the catalog itself. I played with the colors until this combination made me smile! Seaside Spray, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Merry Merlot, and So Saffron was the winning combination!

The new Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets are an extra “wow” factor for this card! I also used the new Story Label Punch for a quick and easy sentiment! I finished the card with the Braided Trim bow!

Did you know that through the month of July you can earn a $5 coupon with EVERY $50 you spend?? You get to use the $5 coupons in August!

Plus-if you are an addict, like me, you can join for the discount! Stampin’ Up! has a promotion that they will add an additional $30 to the $125 in the starter kit! (just a $99 plus tax fee) You get to pick your items from any current offering in the catalog! Then, you get a $10 off coupon for August (um you would be able to pre-order from the Holiday Catalog!!!)
