Simply Soft Butterflies

I was cruising around Pinterest and saw a card by Tami White and this creation happened!  The Floral Romance Specialty DSP has these gorgeous vellum patterned papers in the collection! You get 12 sheets total: 6 vellum sheets (3 each of 2 designs) and 6 double sided sheets (3 each of 2 designs).  You can makes so many simple and beautiful cards with this pack of paper!  Or scrapbook your floral memories using it for your scrapbooking!

I used Glue Dots behind the flowers on the vellum so you couldn’t see them. Then I used Mossy Meadow to mat the DSP.   Next, I stamped the butterflies with the Butterfly Gala stamp set and punched them out with the Butterfly Duet punch!  (they both will be in the NEW catalog!).  To color the butterflies, I used daubers in ink pads.  First I used Blushing Bride in the centers of their bodies and then Rich Razzleberry for their outer wings.  Of course what card isn’t complete without Wink of Stella!!  It also helped blend the colors together!  I finished it off with a sentiment on a piece of Whisper White popped up on dimensionals.
