I have found so many different ways to utilize the Wood Words Bundle! I needed a birthday card and came up with this rustic looking card! I got the color idea straight from the picture for this suite right in the catalog!
This card is super easy to re-create too! So, I made this a club card for my girls!
First, I stamped the floral bunch with Peekaboo Peach on to Peekaboo Peach paper. I then took 1 1/4″ pieces of Early Espresso paper & the Wood Textures DSP pack. If you tear slowly away from you the middle of the paper will not show. I did use a sponge and Early Espresso to distress the edges. Next I stamped the rooster with Cajun Craze and punched him out with the 1 1/4″ circle punch. Then I punched the Small Scalloped Circle with Cajun Craze paper. To give it that extra vintage feel, I crumpled up the paper and flattened it back out. To give the doily extra fluff, I folded it in half before adhering it behind the strips of ripped paper. I also used the Early Espresso to distress the doily.
I then cut out the cute tag with the tag from the Wood Crate framelit set. To finish the look, I tied a bow using the Linen Thread!
