I saw this card on Pinterest from Stamp Happy and fell in love with the unique fold! I only changed the paper choices. Going Global has been a popular set and unfortunately is retiring. I made this for the girls at my stamp club since Father’s Day is coming up. You can also put a Happy Birthday sentiment to have a masculine card on hand.
To make fold:
Cut your card base as usual: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4″ then score at 2 1/4″ & 6 3/4″
I then inked up the embossing folder with Crumb Cake with a brayer and placed Lost Lagoon cardstock in and ran it through. Wonderful effect!
I used the corrugated paper to give more depth on the medallion that holds the fold down. (use dimetionals on bottom half before adhereing; cut the brad tines off and used glue dots to adhere brad)
The inside is taped on the sides to make a pocket and the insert is a 3 3/4″ square in Crumb Cake with a 3 1/2″ Very Vanilla square to write on. The recipient should love this card!
