Sorry it’s been a bit since I posted a photo. Back to school took some adjusting. We are at our annual Labor Day Craft Retreat and I have made a ton of cool projects! I have been waiting to add ink to Moroccan Nights! I love using the jewel tone colors with this set! The coordinating Moroccan DSP is so pretty! Great for masculine, fall, or ornate cards!
I also have to say the new 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon is great on most projects! I am on my third roll already!
I have plenty to post this week and I will have the next Creative Kit by Mail pictures coming in a couple days!
The Holiday Catalog is LIVE! So go above and click on shop now! Don’t forget the online rewards program too!
I saw this card on Pinterest from Stamp Happy and fell in love with the unique fold! I only changed the paper choices. Going Global has been a popular set and unfortunately is retiring. I made this for the girls at my stamp club since Father’s Day is coming up. You can also put a Happy Birthday sentiment to have a masculine card on hand.
To make fold:
Cut your card base as usual: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4″ then score at 2 1/4″ & 6 3/4″
I then inked up the embossing folder with Crumb Cake with a brayer and placed Lost Lagoon cardstock in and ran it through. Wonderful effect!
I used the corrugated paper to give more depth on the medallion that holds the fold down. (use dimetionals on bottom half before adhereing; cut the brad tines off and used glue dots to adhere brad)
The inside is taped on the sides to make a pocket and the insert is a 3 3/4″ square in Crumb Cake with a 3 1/2″ Very Vanilla square to write on. The recipient should love this card!
Don’t forget the Creative Kit by Mail! Deadline to order this month’s kit is May 23rd!
I procrastinated last week preparing for my club on Sunday. I had 2 of my 3 projects finished and could not get the creative juices flowing! After 3 other attempts with other stamp sets and colors, I turned to a super cute layout my upline did last month! I was also thrilled to get the My Paper Pumpkin on Thursday! It has a great Father’s Day stamp in it!!
I then thought of the super cute Sea Street stamp set from the new catalog and that was it! I used the coordinating Designer Series Paper, Maritime and it was all up hill from there!! To make the cute envelope fit the front, you take a piece of 4×4 paper and use 2 1/4″ as your 1st score line on the Envelope Punch Board. So fun! Especially since I finished at 2am!
New items shown: the new punch pack! Sea Street Stamp set, Maritime DSP, and the Father’s Day stamp from the Paper Pumpkin!
I did not realize it had been so long since I posted! I started a new FT regular job, and it has been fun getting used to the schedule! I made this card for my oldest nephew who just left to join the Navy. It’s an encouragement card! We got the set at Manager’s reception! It is so fun to play with!

I made this quick card using the popular Wetlands stamp set! At first, I thought it was pretty, but never thought much more about it. But it really wows! Great for masculine cards!!
I lightly colored the gooses with Chocolate Chip ink using a blender pen. I colored the stamps with Stampin’ Write Markers (Old Olive, Chocolate Chip). I ran the Old Olive cardstock through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. It just needed some texture. I used the Label Framelits to cut out the image and the mat.
