Wow, does this detailed die pack a punch or what?? This card was made by using the Two-Tone Flora Bundle from the Spring Mini 2023! And the best news is that it will carry over to the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog!
I love the depth that the 2-step stamping emulates and the details in the dies, especially the background die! Want to know the tips on how to create stunning & elegant cards using this bundle? Here you go!
First, I used Very Vanilla Thick cut at 4 1/4 x 11 for a tent style card. I usually score these with my Stampin’ Trimmer or my Simply Scored Scoring Tool to make a nice fold in the middle. The thicker cardstock tends to look better if it has been scored. Next, I used an Adhesive Sheet on a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ piece of Very Vanilla and ran it through the Stamp, Cut, and Emboss machine (SCEM) with the detailed die that comes with the Two-Tone Flora bundle. What I LOVE about Adhesive Sheets is that when you pull off the backing, it pulls a LOT of the cut-out pieces!

I used Calypso Coral and Soft Succulent (sad to see this one retire-sniffle) for the flowers and the leaves. I find that stamping the detailed stamp first (full strength or 1st generation) yields better results. I then ink the up the solid/fill stamp with the same color and then stamp off onto my grid paper (you can purchase a pad of these for your workspace). The image you first stamped is easier to see with the lighter color going on top. The coordinating dies make it super easy to cut out with your Stamp, Cut, & Emboss machine!

The flowers were embellished with Wink of Stella clear, and the sentiment was stamped on the same color cardstock using Basic Gray. I wanted a simple sentiment that didn’t overpower the main focal point. This would make a great anniversary card, wedding card, or Mother’s Day card!
The NEW 2023-24 Annual Catalog is almost here! New In Colors and new/returning Core Colors! I would love to mail you a catalog! Just ask!
