I feel in love with a card that I saw on Pinterest, and I apologize for forgetting her name. I changed up the colors, the DSP, and the embossing folders. I love going to our retreats! I was able to just let the creative mojo just flow! Do you ever get in those zones where ideas just keep popping in your head? That was this card! Probably why it had so many steps to it for my club girls! BUT the loved it too!
A really good friend of mine is obsessed with bees, and I think I can see why! they are so happy, they help pollinate our vegetation, they make yummy honey, and they just make you smile! (From a distance for the real ones)

So here is what I did to create this card. First you will need to cut out 2 smaller hexagons and one slightly larger hexagon from the Beautiful Shapes dies. Then, you will place your hexagons in the Hive 3D folder and run it through the Stamp, Cut, and Emboss machine. Use Crushed Curry ink and Blending Brushes to color those hexagons and set aside. Take a piece of Basic White (3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″) and run it through with the Timber 3D folder. I also cut out two floral sprigs to add behind the sentiment from the Honeybee Blooms dies. The sentiment was stamped on a small piece of Smoky Slate (7/8’X 3 1/2″) and sniped used the Pick a Banner Punch. I cut two (1″x 5 1/2″) strips of the Perfectly Penciled DSP for the sides.
The bees’ bodies and wings were colored with Daffodil Delight Light Blends and Pool Party Light Blends. And of course, I added Wink of Stella to the wings for added bling!
