Wowsers, it has been a crazy couple of weeks!! Sorry for the delay in posting the latest creation!! How are you enjoying the new catalog? I am IN LOVE with it!! I have to keep telling myself I have a year to get all my favorites!
We got a copy of the new catalog in April, and we were able to pre-order selected items last month. So, when I cruised through and saw the Wisteria Wishes bundle, I HAD TO HAVE it!! I adore wisteria flowers in bloom! I also saw making bluebonnets by stamping the image upside down! Bluebonnets are the Texas state flower and the two new In Colors were perfect for making this vision come to life!
I first stamped on a piece of Basic White the stems with Garden Green to cover the bottom of the piece of paper. I then used the Stary Sky ink to stamp the matching floral trio on top. To make the white portion of the bluebonnets, I stamped the single bloom stamp with Craft Whisper White on top of the Stary Sky.
The splatter was created by firmly tapping the Stary Sky Light Blend on my Bone folder a couple times. A quick sentiment was added using Basic Gray and the Whisper White Crinkle ribbon was used to finish off the focal point. I used Stary Sky cardstock mat and ran it through with the Gingham Embossing folder. This was all adhered onto the Orchid Oasis card base. Super quick! My girls at my Sweet n Simple class loved it!
