Sorry for being out of sight for a bit! End of school and then I had knee surgery 2 weeks ago. All better now! My creative mojo is coming back tenfold too! The Ranunculus Romance stamp set was a MUST have for me! I love to create more vintage feeling cards and use these types of images on my mixed media creations!
This card came together so quickly-which is usually not the case. I cut out the blossom using Petal Pink cardstock and then crumpled it up. I flattened it out and then used the Blending Brushes to add Petal Pink Ink to the edges for more depth. The flower was stamped half Petal Pink and then half Soft Seafoam. I used a Blender Pen to omit the pink and add green with the Soft Seafoam marker. Blender Pens an amazing to have, so many uses!
Pear Pizzazz cardstock was used to cut out the leaves and stems to add more balance. Check out that amazing White Frayed ribbon! It was perfect along with the Irredeasant Pearls and Quarterfoil Tile embossing folder! I did use a Blending Brush with Smoky Slate on the raised areas to add more pop of the design.
Did you see the torn edges on the Soft Seafoam mat piece? It is from a gem of a find in the new Annual Catalog! (I can mail you a catalog packet if you would like one). Deckled Rectangle dies are amazing! See the main picture above! Can you see the scrapbook layout mats?? And no tearing!! One of the first things in my cart during Pre-Order!
