Do you prefer traditional Christmas colors, or do you like a little color mix up for your creations? I found the Whimsy & Wonder suite did not disappoint! The colors in the Whimsy & Wonder DSP were fun, subtle, metallic, and had pops of pink hues to balance out the combination!
I was trying to a simpler card layout to make it easier to re-create this for multiples. I started by stamping the small berry bunch with Misty Moonlight on Misty Moonlight cardstock. I chose a subtle piece of the Whimsy & Wonder cardstock to compliment my trees that I cut out using the coordinating Christmas Tree dies.
I had a hard time deciding which trees were my favorite! I stamped the biggest one with Mint Macaron and followed it with Polished Pink dots for the ornaments! Then, I took a piece of the 2021-2023 Shimmer Vellum (Soft Succulent) and cut out one of the mid-size trees. Next, I wanted to balance the sizes and colors, so I cut out those cute little mini trees with Mint Macaron and Blushing Bride!
For extra texture, I placed the piece of DSP on a scalloped die cut from the Scalloped Contour dies. I highly recommend this for you dies-they are very versatile with the scallop border, flowers, and the scalloped rectangle dies!
To finish the card, I used a small Joy sentiment from the Whimsical Trees on Blushing Bride. The Metallic Mesh has been a favorite of mine this holiday season for a quick pop of bling!
