Floating Inlaid Die Cut Shapes

Are you looking for a cool technique? Do I have a treat for you today!!! Inlaid Floating Die Cut Shapes!!! You could also use a stamped image that matches the die cut as well. I have seen quite a few of the these on Pinterest, so I had to make one! I want to throw a shout out to Alicia Tilsner for her guidance!

First off you will need a Window Sheet cut to 4 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ & 6 strips of coordinating DSP cut to 4 1/2″ x 3/4″

The card in the video uses a Basic White Thick card base & a Basic Black piece big enough for the biggest butterfly die. (From Brilliant Wings dies) I cut the pieces to 4″ x 2 3/4″ plus an Adhesive Sheet with the same measurements.

Check out the video for tips on how to create your own!

I loved the handwritten look to the sentiments in the Borders Abound stamp set. I cut a 3″ x 1/2″ piece of Bermuda Bay to stamp “hello” on it.

Be sure to get your supplies through me by using the Host Code for March 2021! I will send out thank you gifts to those who order using this code! Be sure to subscribe to my newsletter too!
