Northern Lights Technique

I have never been to see the Northern Lights, but I can only imagine what an incredible display it emits! I recently saw a card on our Demonstrator Planning Place FB page (one of the perks of being a demo-connecting and seeing creations from all over) by Kylie Bertucci from Australia where she used Pear Pizzazz for the card. It was stunning and the best part is that you only use ONE color!!

I thought about how to make it more like a peaceful Christmas Scene and came up with Pool Party as my card front piece to sponge. Your fingers will get a little inky-but that’s a good day in my book! I used a Stampin’ Sponge (I cut into 1/4’s) and some Night of Navy ink to sponge from the edge towards the area I wanted to be the “lights”.

After I sponged the Pool Party piece, I took out the Snow Front stamp set. It was my first time playing with this set, and it does not disappoint! It was so easy to make this scene look like fresh snow on Christmas Eve! I used a Chalk Marker and some Wink of Stella to make it more magical!

Check out the video to see how easy it is to make! I am still getting used to my new set up…..enjoy!

So now you can go make some gorgeous cards to reach out to your friends! Are you missing a few items?? Just hop on my site and get them delivered to your door!

I will send you a thank you gift as well for choosing to order from me! It really helps out my small business! Blessings!
