I was inspired by Patty Bennet’s Postage Stamp punch cards a few days ago! I grabbed my Postage Stamp punch and started punching DSP! I laid it out on a 3 3/4″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock and ran it through the NEW Stamp-Cut-Emboss machine (SCEM) with the Dainty Diamonds Embossing folder! The finished product reminded me of a quilt! This is going to be our technique for stamp club for September!!
TIPS:
- Center your punched shapes first and then arrange the others around it.
- Let some of the shape over-hang- you can always trim it with your Paper Snips.
- Adhere the shapes to the Whisper White base before running it through the die cutting machine.
- Use a glue dot to hold down your knot before you finish your bow.
Here is a close up of the detail that the Dainty Diamond Embossing folder makes after you run the whole piece through! I cut a piece of Gold Foil using the small scalloped die from the Little Treat Box Dies. I stamped the saying from the Wrapped in Christmas set and punched it out with the 1 1/2″ circle punch.
