When I saw the Annual Catalog for the first time back in May, I immediately was drawn to the Prized Peony Suite! The colors are soft, the flowers are so elegant, and the embellishments finish off your projects in a snap! Who wants easy coordination when they are creating their cards or pages??
A couple girls and I went to a retreat in July and I made at least 10 of these peony flowers! But, I admit that I was intimidated by the dies when I pulled them out. Once they came together, I decided to share how to make them! They are really easy and very addictive!
Check out the detail in this up close picture of the flower that I made! To create a more distressed flower, you just take your Water Spritzer and dampen your cardstock a little. Then crumple it into a ball and then flatten out. You can now run this cardstock through the Stamp Cut and Emboss machine and continue making your flowers!
