I wanted to share this card since we are in graduation season! Plus, you can always use cards made to hold gift cards, right? This one is super simple to put together! Just pick your theme and find your coordinating papers! We made this for a last Mystery Stamp Event a couple weeks ago.
I love that the Forever Blooms set is staying in the new catalog, but I am so sad to see it’s counterpart, Parisian Beauty retire! I will say, I am keeping that one!!!
Gather the following to get started on your next gift card holder!
•11” x 4 ¼” card base (don’t fold yet)
•3 ¾ ” x 4” Whisper White one for outside and one for inside the card.
•DSP of your choice that coordinate with your card base. (cut 2) 1 ¼” x 4”
•One set or two stamp sets
•Strip for sentiment (optional)
•Circle punch 1 ½” or smaller.
•Embellishments, dies, punches, and inks of your choice Tape, glue, dimensionals, scissors etc. Items you generally use when creating your masterpieces.
Then you score your base piece (11”x 4 ¼ ”) at 1 ½ ” and at 5 ½ ”
–Adhere your matching 2 DSP pieces to the card base to the inside of the card and one of the Whisper White pieces next to it flush. –Decorate your outside piece of Whisper White and tape on the front. –Add the last piece of DSP to the small fold on the inside.
•BEFORE adhering the small inside flap-use the circle punch to punch a half circle in the center. Be sure to go through the DSP and the card stock. •Adhere the small fold with a strong adhesive just on the edges. (top/bottom)
