Adjusting to this new norm is definitely a challenge for all of us. I have been holding on the silver linings in each day. When I go for a walk, I am noticing more people biking, walking, and gardening! And I LOVE spring-so I am taking a lot of pictures of flowers blooming! It’s a message from above to keep the faith-renewal and rebirth is coming! So, stay positive! It’s okay to not be okay too! Just don’t stay there-let it out and then count your blessings!
If you are like me, you can go create in your craft space and just loose track of time! Stampin’ Up! just released the Ornate Garden Suite for customers to order this month! As a demonstrator, we were able to order it as a pre-order item. It is amazing! The whole suite is worth purchasing, but you can also order ala cart! I have created several items with this already! This one is my favorite so far!
I stamped the single daisy and colored it with a Blender Pen and some ink off of the lid of the ink pads. I did use some Memento Black to shade the daisy for more depth. I love the Night of Navy, Whisper White, and Daffodil Delight colors together for daisies!! It just screams spring! I used a proportionate sized border from the Ornate Borders Dies and ran a piece of Night of Navy through die cutting machine. The Ornate Floral 3-D embossing is just gorgeous! I used a piece of Daffodil Delight to make a pop of color behind the daisy. The DSP is from the Painted Poppies pack. I wanted to add some Old Olive and a simple pattern.
I finished this card with a Linen Thread bow, some Wink of Stella Clear, and a small sentiment. I used one of the smaller dies in the Nesting Dies to cut it out.
