This card was made for my first Stamp a Stack and it was a favorite with my girls! It was a fun and simple card to create and make! The Perfectly Plaid stamp set and Pine Tree Punch are a must have this season! I have seen so many gorgeous cards, 3-d items, tags, and scrapbook pages using the duo!
For this card, I first stamp the Crumb Cake with the Birch background stamp (I did stamp off first to make it more subtle). Next, I stamped the fir tree with Shaded Spruce onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and cut out with the Stitched Nested Labels. Then I tied a piece of the stunning Shaded Spruce/Gold 3/8″ ribbon into a knot and adhered it below the tree.
I placed a piece of the Toile Tidings DSP onto the card base and then used Dimensionals to adhere the shape with the stamped tree on top of that. I added 2 Gold Foil sprigs that I cut from the Sprig Punch. The final touch was a Gold Metallic Pearl!
What is funny, is last year I looked at the Sprig punch and thought “I don’t need that”. I was sooooo wrong! I love that punch! I have seen cute wreaths made from several that are layered into a circle.
