Down here in the south, we have a lot of magnolia trees that are just gorgeous! So, when I saw the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set in the new annual catalog, I had to have it! Can you tell I love it!? I have made a lot of projects with this suite!
The Magnolia Memory dies help you make stunning cards (and other creations) in a snap! I used the Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends (light/dark) and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends (light/dark) to color the flower. I added a little Daffodil Delight in the center. I like to use the lighter shade of Blends first and then go back to create depth with the darker shade.
To create the movement on the sides of the cards, I used the border die in the coordinating Magnolia Memory dies. The DSP is just gorgeous! It is filled with floral images, classic textures, and great color combos! I used this classic and textured pattern and added both ribbons from the combo pack to accent the branch on the flower.
