Do you love the farmhouse style? I absolutely love it! It was the first suite I was drawn to in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog! The Tin Tile Embossing Folder has amazing details and using the new Galvanized Silver Foil Sheet makes it pop!
Moving on to the tree! It comes from the In the Woods dies! I love how it creates parts of the tree that are 3-D. I saw. Post on Patty Bennett’s site about using your Spritzer with rubbing alcohol and some Frost White Shimmer Paint. The results are amazing!
This picture does to do the tree justice! The Champagne Mist color is very elegant as well! (think Wink of Stella on steroids) To finish the card, I added some 5/8″ Striped Burlap Trim, a Galvanized Button, some Linen Thread, and a sentiment!
This was a stamp a stack card this past weekend. I cut and spritzed the trees for them so there isn’t a log jam at the Big Shot. But the end result makes it worth it!
Confession! After using the Big Shot for over 10 years, I have never ruined a die. Well, I put the die and the paper on top of the sandwich. I ran it through thinking it felt and sounded odd. I completely bowed the die!!!!! It was my first of 32 to make! I cut the rest out with the warped die. Then, I flipped it and ran it through incorrectly again. I was so nervous! But to my surprise, it flattened it out! Like it never happened! Shew!!
