I just think of a nice fire with a cup of hot cocoa on a cold winters day with this card! I have fallen in LOVE with the NEW Buffalo Check Background stamp! I made this card for the Christmas Stamp a Stack last weekend and it was a hit!
I always buy the wood for the background stamps for their sturdiness. I usually prefer clear mount on all my other stamps. To make your image clear and complete; ink up the whole background stamp with Memento Black Ink (used here) with the rubber facing up. Take your cardstock and place it on top. Use the one side of your grid paper (scratch paper) and fold it over on top of the stamp and cardstock. Then take your hand and rub it over to insure the image is all on your cardstock. The best part is the ink is not on your hand!
The 5/8″ Striped Burlap Ribbon was the perfect choice to add some rustic texture to this card! The Red Basic Rhinestones are a nice final touch! Some people put their Red Rhinestones on the nose of the deer! (face palm, duh!)
