Soft Dandelions

Don’t you just love dandelions!  It’s such a sweet childhood memory for most!  When I saw this set in the Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalog-it was on my top 3 list!  I needed a technique for my stamp club this week, so I used the plastic wrap technique! It’s such a simple technique and it was perfect to create a soft background for this stamp set!

  1. Use 2 to 3 re-inker colors and place a few drops into the lid of it’s corresponding color.
  2. Use an aqua painter with rubbing alcohol in it and mix a few drops into the ink.
  3. Wad up some plastic wrap and dab into the color.  Randomly smoosh it onto Glossy White Cardstock.

I then stamped the images in Versa Mark and then Silver Embossing powder.  Once it is heat set you can adhere it to the Whisper White mat.  I paper saved the sentiment on the Pool Party base color and punched it out with Classic Label punch.  Then I ran it through the Big Shot with the Tufted Embossing folder.
