I am so excited that Stampin’ Up!’s On Stage is around the corner! I made this card for a Fun Folds SWAP and it was so cute, that I had my club girls make it too! I used the directions from Splitcoast Stampers under recourses. Just look up Criss Cross.
I didn’t use the DSP the way it shows in the instructions. I loved the way it looked with out the DSP. I used one of my all time favorite stamp sets: Daisy Delight! I just stamped it twice with Night of Navy ink and punch it out with the Daisy Punch. I then took the two flower centers and used Daffodil Delight. TIP: to make the textured center stamp image stand out, I stamped that on in full strength. I followed it with the solid center, but stamped off the Daffodil Delight on my grid paper. I used the coordinating Delightful Daisy DSP for the belly band. The finishing touches were the Night of Navy Gingham ribbon and the Wink of Stella center.
The insert was stamped with the flower outlines, stems, and leaves. I used the sentiment from Flowering Flourishes.
