I love it when I am working on one project, then cut out a piece from the Big Shot, and then a new idea hits me! I saw the negative of the Petal Branch from the Petals & More Thinlit dies and immediately saw this card!
It was such a simple card to put together too! I just popped a piece of Copper Foil in the background and matted it with Early Espresso. A little Linen Thread and a sentiment, finished! And it’s masculine! Those are usually my hardest to design!
The pictures do not do the copper justice at all! It really pops in person!
My son has grown up around me making crafts with Stampin Up! products. He wanted to make his friend a birthday card, so off to my room we go. He usually goes through my pieces that don’t make it onto a project and scrap paper. But I am so proud of what he made!!
He tells me he wants to be a Stampin’ Up! demo when he gets older! Ha! I will see what he says when he’s 18! Until then, I will eat up these moments!
