When I saw the preview of the Holiday Catalog, the Painted Harvest just called my name! Of course it was first on my list when we could pre-order (one of the many perks of being a demo!) from the catalog this month! I still want to play with color combinations-and I have seen some gorgeous ones on the blogosphere!
This one will be a card for my Sweet & Simple card class on Tuesday, August 29th! (if you are local, come join us! Just RSVP 7pm-8:30pm)
To make this card, I used Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight for the two yellow colors. This set is a 2 step stamp set that makes your cards pop! I aimed for lining up the center with the 2nd stamp. It doesn’t matter which one goes first. I then used Garden Green and the more water colored fern stamp to make the background. Next, I followed up with Chocolate Chip for the center and used Wink of Stella (I really need help….) for the centers! I thought a textured background piece was perfect! So I chose the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Embossing folder. I added some distressing with a sponge and lightly brushed it across with Chocolate Chip ink.
The Painted Harvest come in a bundle option that includes a Leaf Punch. It’s pretty darn cute to add a quick accent to your card! To finish it off, I added some Linen Thread and the sentiment. All done!
September 1st is the day customers can get this beautiful set! Need a Holiday Catalog? Let me know, I can drop one in the mail to you!
