We just got back from our annual Labor Day craft retreat! Wow, I love it when I can sit and create with no interruptions!! I was inspired by a pin on Pinterest and changed up a few things to make it my own! The Harvest Hello stamp set and Apple Builder Punch makes your seasonal cards a snap! The images include a pumpkin, pumpkin face expression, apple slice, a whole apple, and seeds! What caught my eye on the pin was the Mercury Glass Acetate that was punched out and then stamped with VersaMark! It was finished with Silver embossing powder and heat set.
The Rectangle Dies are one of my “go to” products! It helps frame the focal point while giving your paper a little texture with the stitching. I wanted it to look more vintage, so I sponged Crumb Cake on it to give it that vintage feel!
To accent the pumpkin, I used the Gather Ribbon Combo and some Linen thread topped off with a Leaf Trinket!
You can now order through the Holiday Catalog!!! And to sweeten the deal, there is a Buy 3 Get One Free DSP sale! (on select DSP packs)
Nothing looks better than a topiary on your porch! This set was so much fun to play with and I see a ton of other ideas to use it for too! It can be used for all seasons! Just change up your color scheme and embellishments and you have a stamp set you can use all year!
This set if from the upcoming Holiday Catalog!!! Do you need one mailed to you!?? I can send one your way! This card also features the new Brick & Mortar 3-D embossing folder as well! To create the aged look on the bricks, I took a Craft White pad and dragged it across the top lightly. I then would rub in any areas that looked too streaked.
Then I used a strip of the 6×6 Regals DSP pack, Cajun Craze, to accent the side. The topiary is stamped with Mossy Meadow, Soft Suede, and Cajun Craze. Next, I accented the greenery with Merry Merlot berries and Wink of Stella. It’s all finished with the sentiment of your choice!
The Extra-Extra deal is coming to an end next week! (8/31/19)

I had to make a punny title! I made this card our club last month! I love that you can use it for Valentine’s Day or any “love” occasion! I used the cute heart in the Be Mine Stitched framelits as the O in LOVE.
To make the letters POP, I used the Foam Adhesive Strips because they are easy to use and are slightly higher than dimensionals. I just tied a knot and cut the banner end on the ribbon for a cute accent!
I invested in the Large Letter Framelits when I had flex points from Stampin’ Up! They were almost FREE!

Ah, the feel of love in the air! I made this card for the monthly Sweet & Simple class. I wanted to keep the Big Shot items to one die and not go over the top (hard to do sometimes with all these great products!). I wanted a simple heart popped up, so I chose the two hearts in the Be Mine Stitched Framelits. To make the heart stitched, you nestle the to smaller heart dies together and run through one time.
I really love the photopolymer sets when it comes to 2-step stamping! I always start with the darker color ink first. It makes it easier to line up the 2nd stamp with the lighter ink. I used Lovely Lipstick and Soft Seafoam for the colors. There are a couple pops of Blushing Bride to add some whimsy.
Grey Granite along with the All My Love DSP was used for a classic and elegant look to the card. To finish it off, I used a tousle of Silver Baker’s Twine and the Modern Label Punch. You could easily change the sentiment to a Happy Anniversary or a Wedding sentiment as well! I also have fell in love with the Take Your Pick tool! It has so many great features at your finger tips! A putty side to pick up your sequins and small paper pieces; a small spatula, a piercing tool, and two sided stylus! Plus, you get a putty refill all for $10!
Be sure to be your own craft store! You get a 20% discount (no coupons needed) on every purchase you make or 20% of what your friends buy! This is such a great time of year to sign up! Hobby demos welcome! We have a great team across the U.S.!
This adorable tote that was custom designed for paper crafters like us! AND $175 in any current products of your choice! Your first full quarter will be March-June to meet your minimum….what’s the cost?
$129 for the tote and $175 of product/business supplies or
Are you as obsessed with the Buffalo Check craze as I am? When I saw the Buffalo Check Background stamp, I bought it with my first order! I made this card for my Sweet & Simple class and I love how it turned out!
I highly recommend to buy the wood mount with background sets. I like that they stamp a much more even and crisp image.
TIP: ink your stamp with your color of choice and lay your stamp rubber side up. Place your paper on top of the rubber. Then, pull your grid paper (or a piece of scratch paper) and rub all over to get an even image. And no ink on you!
To make the sentiment pop, I used the marker to rubber method. I always huff on it before stamping the image too! To finish it off, I used the 1/8″ Real Red ribbon and Burlap ribbon to make it look farmhouse!

I almost didn’t buy the Candy Cane Season bundle-but I am so glad I did! The photopolymer images make stamping a snap! Plus, the bundle includes the Candy Cane Builder punch-so if you need to make multiple cards, it’s in the bag!
Imagine the cute tags you can create with the Candy Cane Season set! It also includes a “to & from” stamp! I also adore the snowflake cluster stamp! Look at the cute background you can create just like that!
Another benefit of this bundle is the Bow part of the Candy Cane Builder punch! No ribbon required! (unless you want to!) Of course Wink of Stella had to be added-so addicted!
Do you stamp your envelopes? Did you know that Stampin’ Up!’s envelopes are smooth like our Whisper White and Very Vanilla card stock? This mean your recipients can feel the excitement of your gesture before even opening the card!

Don’t you love it when you come up with a design and it just gels together!!? I have always adored vintage cards that use Sheet Music! Stampin’ Up! has answered that obsession by offering the Sheet Music Background stamp! Just think of all the music lovers in your life and the possibilities this one stamp could give you!
To make this card even better, I paired it with the tree from the Winter Woods stamp set! And, there is the In the Woods Framelit collection that helps you cut the tree out in a snap! (this card would be a great one to reproduce for your seasonal card this year) And for a bonus tip: paper save by using your Smoky Slate mat as your surface to stamp your greeting. Once you punch it out and adhere the sheet music piece on top, no one will know!
I used Wink of Stella clear on the white areas of the tree image for an extra sparkle. I used the Under the Mistletoe DSP for this card-but any 1″ piece from your Christmas stash will do! I liked the DSP because it coordinated so well with the Shaded Spruce card base. ( I LOVE THIS COLOR)
Now for some serious business. If you have the following items on your wish list, you need to get them ASAP! When I first saw the Beautiful Baubles Bundle in the Holiday Catalog, I liked it. It wasn’t until I saw what people were making with it that I fell in love with the possibilities it holds! (I have made at least 4 cards already!)
I made this one for my last Stamp a Stack. I feel that using a monochromatic scheme can make it easier for new stampers! But, truth be told, I HAD to use the Merry Merlot & Copper 5/8″ Reversible Ribbon! It really was my inspiration for using the Copper Embossing Powder for the ornament!
TIP: Stamp your ornament with VersaMark and heat emboss the copper powder before adding the ornament hanger. You run the risk of wiping off the ornament’s powder.

Do you love the farmhouse style? I absolutely love it! It was the first suite I was drawn to in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog! The Tin Tile Embossing Folder has amazing details and using the new Galvanized Silver Foil Sheet makes it pop!
Moving on to the tree! It comes from the In the Woods dies! I love how it creates parts of the tree that are 3-D. I saw. Post on Patty Bennett’s site about using your Spritzer with rubbing alcohol and some Frost White Shimmer Paint. The results are amazing!
This picture does to do the tree justice! The Champagne Mist color is very elegant as well! (think Wink of Stella on steroids) To finish the card, I added some 5/8″ Striped Burlap Trim, a Galvanized Button, some Linen Thread, and a sentiment!
This was a stamp a stack card this past weekend. I cut and spritzed the trees for them so there isn’t a log jam at the Big Shot. But the end result makes it worth it!
Confession! After using the Big Shot for over 10 years, I have never ruined a die. Well, I put the die and the paper on top of the sandwich. I ran it through thinking it felt and sounded odd. I completely bowed the die!!!!! It was my first of 32 to make! I cut the rest out with the warped die. Then, I flipped it and ran it through incorrectly again. I was so nervous! But to my surprise, it flattened it out! Like it never happened! Shew!!
Starting tonight at 12:00am, Stampin’ Up! is running a 24 hour sale on select stamp sets! It’s to celebrate their 30th birthday! The lists are below! Use Hostess code QQY9F9XX at check out. I will send you a package of Basic Rhinestones as a thank you! You can shop at Laura’s Stampin’ Up! website.
I love everything Christmas! The traditional colors are my favorite! The Frosted Floral Suite showcases a stunning color combo in the Holiday Catalog! My favorite product in this suite is the gorgeous pearlized Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper! The designers put together the perfect balance of Blackberry Bliss, Blushing Bride, Gray Granite, Merry Merlot, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Pear Pizzazz, Pineapple Punch, Powder Pink, Soft Seafoam, and Tranquil Tide.
I love the deep jewel tones of the Blackberry Bliss and Tranquil Tide. I started with those two colors and then started building my palate. I added a touch of Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride, and Gray Granite. This is a Christmas Stamp a Stack card for next weekend. I made a video to show the tips and tricks to this card. But, it really is a simple card to make.
You know I had to add a touch of Wink to this card! Rhinestones also add some bling along with the Braided Linen Trim! I love how these non-traditional colors make the season feel cool and frosted!
