Christmas Treat Jar

I finally got to play with the Foam Strips that Stampin’ Up! came out with in the new Annual Catalog!  So easy to make your shaker cards!!

Of course I also LOVE this Candy Cane Christmas set!  I used the Real Red Glitter Stampin’ Emboss Powder for the Peppermints.  I then punched them out with the 1/2″ circle punch.

The foam strips are nice a long.  I took the whole piece and worked it around the jar shape.  I pressed my fingers against the inside to soften the adhesive. This way the items in the shaker won’t stick to it as much.

I cut out the Candy Cane Lane DSP piece and the Garden Green piece together.  The Real Red is the base that sealed the back.  I put a piece of 2 1/2″ x 3″ window sheet behind the Gardne Green and DSP layer.  So it’s DSP, then Garden Green, Window Sheet, and then the Real Red backing. You may want to add extra postage if you send these and a bubble mailer!  I also put some silver and white sequins from the metallic sequins.

Then you have to have a pop of Real Red with a bow made by the Bow Builder punch!

This set is going to see a lot more ink!!  Stay tuned!
