My son camp home with the most stunning art project on canvas! They used salt and water to create a whimsical background! Well you know I had to try it for my card club technique! I included a video for this to help you create your own background!
I did a few test pieces on the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. The first one I followed the directions from a video on SCS. It does make a nice background, but I was looking for more motion in my background. I knew I was going to use the Whale Done bundle, so a sea bed with a sense of waves was perfect! I used more water on mine after I applied the sea salt.
I am SOOOOO excited about the new Water Painters! There are 3 differnt sized brushes in each pack! Small tip, broad tip, and and brush tip! It makes these water color washes so much easier to create! I used a acrylic block to drop my re-inkers on to like a mini palette. The Stampin’ Spritzers are wonderful because their spray comes out a fine mist.
