Coloring Embossing Paste

I LOVE the new embossing paste!!  I was playing around with it the other day and wanted to try coloring it!  So easy!  All you need is the Embossing Paste, Spatulas, a re inker, and a tray (o-r silicone mat).

I dropped about a half dollar sized amount onto the tray.  Then I mixed about 4-5 drops of re-inker and mixed well.  I also added Dazzling Diamonds to it, but that was after this card.  Very pretty!  And I just saw someone add scents to the paste!  Scented cards!!

After you mix your paste to your desired color, then you can place your mask/stencil over your surface and spread the paste with the spatula.  I swiped back and forth a few times and then scraped it even on top of the mask.  Carefully pull up and let dry!

TIP: It dries very fast!  Clean your mask and other materials as soon as possible with warm soapy water.

To make the lemons more realistic, I followed the Daffodil Delight with Versa Mark and Clear Embossing powder.  Then I heat set it.  Layered the lemons with dimensionals and some Linen Thread.  I used this card as our club technique this month!

Don’t forget to get your bonus days coupons!  For every $50 you spend this month, you get a $5 off to use in August emailed to you from Stampin up!
