Beautiful & Peaceful View

Today I’m featuring the Peaceful View Background Stamp paired with the Beautiful Gallery 6×6 Designer Series Paper. (found on page 97 of the 2025-26 Annual Catalog) This combo makes stunning projects that are perfect for:

I worked with a rich, earthy color combo that keeps everything timeless and versatile:
Mossy Meadow • Pecan Pie • Basic Beige

I love how background stamps + DSP can carry a design beautifully without needing a lot of extra fuss!

Create quick and beautiful cards using the Peaceful View Background Stamp and the Beautiful Gallery 6×6 DSP. The DSP landscapes do all the work, making these perfect for sympathy, thinking of you, masculine birthdays, or even home décor pieces.

Supplies

• Cardstock:
  • Mossy Meadow (base): 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″
  • Basic Beige (mat): 4″ x 5-1/4″
• Designer Series Paper: Beautiful Gallery 6×6 DSP – cut one landscape scene to 3-3/4″ x 5″
• Ink: Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad
• Dies: Mixed Labels Dies (on sale in the Last Chance list)
• Embellishments: Linen Thread
• Adhesives: Dimensionals, Stampin’ Seal, or Multipurpose Glue

Instructions

1. Prepare the Card Base
   • Score the Mossy Meadow base at 4-1/4″ and crease with a Bone Folder.
2. Cut and Save
   • Cut Basic Beige to 4″ x 5-1/4″.
   • For paper saving, die-cut a small label from the center using the Mixed Labels Dies before layering.
3. Stamp on DSP
   • Cut your DSP to 3-3/4″ x 5″.
   • Ink the Peaceful View Background Stamp with Early Espresso.
   • Stamp directly onto the DSP, pressing firmly and holding in place for a few seconds for a crisp image.
4. Assemble Layers
   • Adhere the stamped DSP onto the Basic Beige mat.
   • Adhere the mat to the Mossy Meadow card base.
5. Finish with a Sentiment
   • Stamp your sentiment in Early Espresso on the Basic Beige label you cut earlier.
   • Add Linen Thread behind the sentiment for texture.
   • Pop it up with Dimensionals.

Tips

• Make several at a time—the DSP backgrounds make it quick and easy!
• Switch out sentiments to cover multiple occasions.
• Try framing these in a 5×7 frame for instant handmade décor.
