Wow, it’s been a little bit since I posted! Life has been a little hectic lately! But I am at my craft retreat recharging my creative mojo! I made this card for my All Occasion Stamp a Stack of cards last month! It features items that you can buy as a sneak peek bundle this month! (details to follow!)
Grapefruit Grove is my favorite new In Color for this year!! It mixes so well with the Mint Macaron and Blackberry Bliss! (soooo happy these colors are back) There are two stamps that can be used to fill your flower blooms in this set. I used the smaller one and stamped one at full strength and then followed with a stamped off image. I added some Wink of Stella too!
I used the Mint Macaron for color on color to create more depth. Then I added a small strip of Blackberry Bliss with some Linen Thread for more texture and grounding. To create the border on the Love What You Do DSP, I used the Decorative Ribbon Border punch and turned it to the scalloped side for a subtle accent.

I love it when I am working on one project, then cut out a piece from the Big Shot, and then a new idea hits me! I saw the negative of the Petal Branch from the Petals & More Thinlit dies and immediately saw this card!
It was such a simple card to put together too! I just popped a piece of Copper Foil in the background and matted it with Early Espresso. A little Linen Thread and a sentiment, finished! And it’s masculine! Those are usually my hardest to design!
The pictures do not do the copper justice at all! It really pops in person!
My son has grown up around me making crafts with Stampin Up! products. He wanted to make his friend a birthday card, so off to my room we go. He usually goes through my pieces that don’t make it onto a project and scrap paper. But I am so proud of what he made!!
He tells me he wants to be a Stampin’ Up! demo when he gets older! Ha! I will see what he says when he’s 18! Until then, I will eat up these moments!
I love a FREE stamp set, don’t you? The Heartfelt Blooms is one of the many choices that are in this year’s Sale-a-bration catalog! I just love the details in the image! I tried it with black, but I really enjoyed how the Smoky Slate ink turned out! This is for my Sweet & Simple class tonight!
Did you notice the cute dry embossed image? It’s part of the Petal Passion suite on page 22-23 of the Occasions catalog! It is a smaller embossing folder and it has 2 in the Petal Pair package!
I wanted to add ribbon, but really didn’t want to distract away from the main statement image. I just used the Layering Ovals to cut out the Thank You that also is part of the Heartfelt Blooms set!
I fell in love with the special edition Host set from last month! Merry Patterns is a stunning set that you can create several different scenes with one set. And it has great 2-step stamping! The deer in the sweater is my favorite! I decided to use silver embossing powder to create his image. It’s paired with the Year of Cheer specialty DSP, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, and Basic Grey. Just gives you a cold and wintery feel!
Be sure to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin by tomorrow, November 10th! I can’t wait to see the coordinating project kit that comes this month! Click on Laura’s Paper Pumpkin site to subscribe! Or choose a gift subscription of 1, 3, 6, or 12 months for the crafter in your life!
Crafting Forever is such a fun set! All of the attendees of Center Stage were presented this set in April at our dinner. There are great pictures of scissors, brushes, a stamp, and the cute pens above! There is even a Stampin’ Up! Copyright stamp in there so you can sell your creations while complying with the Angel Policy.
I cut the card stock just a hair taller than the pens. The stamp has 3 pens lined up-so I just stamped them side by side. I did make the paper longer so I could cut off the ends that weren’t straight.
I made this card for my Sweet & Simple class this month! I love how it turned out!
I just got my box of goodies and the paste was in the box! I can’t wait to try it out!
I have no idea why I haven’t played with Irresistibly Floral Specialty DSP paper before!! I wanted a simple card for the girls at the Cancer Support Community Center, and this was the perfect one! So elegant, simple, and stunning!
I used the Flirty Flamingo ink pad and the Sponge Brayers to ink up the paper. I love that you can add as much as you want or as little as you want. I then used a very lightly damp paper towel to take off the ink from the glossy images. Plus this helped blend the ink on the paper too.
Then a quick strip of Whisper White cardstock with your choice of sentiment stamped with Memento Black ink off to the side. Then I ran the small flower from the Flourish Thinlits with Basic Black cardstock. To finish it off, I put some bling onto the berries of the flower!
Now, I am off to find more fun ways to play with this paper!
Don’t forget about the Creative Kit To Go! Order is due March 18th-new customers get a free gift from me! If you refer a new person, I will give you a gift too!
